Yingyue had stormed from the dining room and into the living room not feeling even the slightest bit sheepish for her words or anger to the other two girls. Even as she knew that all the others had been able to hear her word for word. Her eyes casted quickly to Xiaoyou whom she knew to be the most openly upset regarding the current situation. But before she could even approach the younger girl to still check to see if she was okay, Yingyue was pulled in a slightly different direction. In fact she was pulled into a very heated almost desperate kiss. Yingyue pulled back hesitantly deciding the moment was not one she could avert the attention from in order to have a quick make out session in the middle of.
"Hello my love." Her voice was slightly raspy from her shouting minutes prior as she looked upwards at him and her arms went to play with the hairs at the nape of his neck.
"I love it when you act like the powerful woman I know you are, Mrs Yan." Ximen's words started off as serious before they turned into teasing for the last two. Yingyue blushed slightly at them knowing that technically she was not Mrs Yan she wouldn't change her surname that was a western thing but it had felt so good to put those two girls in their place by doing so.
"I had to stake my claim why wouldn't I when my husband looks this good." Yingyue's attention had been fully drawn to Ximen as she temporarily pushed their current situation to the side wanting to ensure she hadn't overstepped slightly earlier through her choice of words.
"I can't believe I have to wait a couple more weeks to legally call you my wife." A cough broke the couple's semi moment as they returned their attention to the current ongoings of the moment.
So far, as Yingyue had been graciously caught up by Ximen's whispering in her ear as he refused to let go of her at present, Lei had successfully contacted Search and Rescue and in addition wanted to go out and join the search party himself.
"There's already two of us out there, we can't risk another if you were to join the search and get lost Lei." Yingyue protested the boy's plan feeling as though if he too were to go out there would be a third person they would need to search for.
"If I were not adamant we came to Canada, this would not have happened to Shancai." Xiaoyou began to blame herself for the situation and Yingyue sent a glare towards the two now outsiders as they came down the stairs from packing away their belongings, still in their wine stained clothing.
"Xiaoyou don't worry." Ximen's voice came from behind Yingyue as he tried but failed to bring the young girl some comfort rather tapping Yingyue's waist as a form of silently begging for her help.
"But Shancai..." Xiaoyou's words weighed heavily on both of the engaged couple as they quickly turned to look each other in the eyes, having a silent conversation.
"Okay, we'll go with you." Yingyue found herself agreeing though the general thought of them possibly all being outside did bounce around in her brain. But she knew if she did not agree to go with the younger girl she would go out alone and most likely also get lost.
"Yes we should all go, it's safer in numbers." Meizuo decided to back this decision.
"Guys wait, we should consider this option." Lei seemed to have changed thought paths from moments before.
"We just can't sit around and do nothing." The three other older members of the group went to protest.
"Staying here is the best way" Lei continued to protest the idea this time around and Yingyue felt almost as if she could laugh considering they had switched positions on the argument just within a few sentences.
