Yingyue felt awful a couple hours later when the group of four had rejoined. Had she approached telling Si in the right manner? The way he was acting now didn't make it seem so. She had never seen him this upset and was actually convinced he might have been actually going through the stages of heartbreak. She couldn't believe what she was seeing for it would appear the young man was actually truly in love with the freshman.
Watching as he stood staring out into the sea she could feel the tugs on her heartstrings for the poor boy. He seemed to have fallen very fast and very hard for the young girl and was absolutely falling to pieces over these photos. And despite having talked to Shancai it seemed as though this hadn't made anything better or clearer. She felt sympathetic for the young man even if his hair constantly reminded her of Spongebob's house.
Though these feelings were obviously not shared by the other two men in the group. Both of them with a beer in their hands were obviously done with the groups leader's wallowing in his own pity. The three of them had perched themselves on one of the stone steps a couple of feet from where Si stood. She found herself in the middle of the trio her legs stretched out straight in front of her sore her feet starting to ache from her shoes. Upon her shoulders perched Ximen's jacket her arms rested behind her as the four spent their evening in the cold spring air.
"Why must four people suffer, when only one person is broken hearted" She heard her fiancé shout from beside her to which she jabbed him rather harshly in the side.
"Lei is so lucky he isn't here" Meizuo added as a second statement
Truthfully Yingyue didn't mind sitting out in the fresh air, the city was pretty at night and the street lights illuminated enough that it felt like a scene out of one of her favourite dramas. The group of four had settled into the atmosphere just enjoying themselves. Well maybe not Ah Si he might have been sorting out some inner trauma or something she wasn't sure. She must have gotten completely lost in her own mind spacing out as she started to plan out the design for the living room of her future house, for when she looked back over at her dear friend who was having not-girlfriend troubles he had vanished.
"Did either of you two idiots see where Ah Si went?" She spoke watching as both boys looked at her in almost shock as they didn't know what to say.
"Great grand, lets just hope he's not thrown himself in the river." Yingyue could only shake her head before going to stand up. Her bum had gone numb and she'd much rather be in bed then forcing herself to stay outdoors. Honestly she wanted to go home to sit there and look at houses but she wouldn't admit that aloud. Like she knew she was engaged but they'd not talked about moving in together yet.
Sure her and Ximen spent a large amount of time around each others family homes and many a times had they spent the night. Sure they had spaces in each others draws and wardrobes yet no actual discussion about getting a house together had occurred. It wasn't like she didn't want to live with him, it would be easier, she'd finally get out of the house which was so big she felt like a tiny ant lost in a jungle, but she just didn't know when the time would be right to mention it.
Would he even want to move in with her yet? Were they moving too fast?
Yingyue just didn't know.
