It was the shouts that forced them out of the archives room.

From the midst of that crowd, terrible screams arose and panic seemed to have taken hold of everyone's expression.

"What's going on?!" Luca followed the lively commotion with his eyes.

"I don't know." Aurora was as confused as frightened. "Something bad must have happened."

Luca silently agreed and continued to focus on their peers, trying to get as much information from their whimpers and cries."Look Aurora," He finally called out to her; he stretched an arm across her back 'till it reached her shoulder and gave it a slight pull, causing her to avert her gaze to the left side of the crowd.

Both had spotted a couple of familiar faces: Professor Schuyler was forcing his way through the frantic group of students, and running right behind was Professor Quinn and Miss Saella alongside with the Headmaster.

"Let's go." Spiked with curiosity, Aurora grabbed Luca by the wrist and dragged him along. They had no information yet on what was the commotion all about then, and what the professors encountered. When the youngsters finally matched their pace with their elders, what configured the main focus to all the panic, was not something that meant any news. Geez... Another student petrified. Aurora thought as she took in the view of her fellow male peer sitting on the fountain in a defensive stance - one leg stretched out, a knee to his chest, and his left arm lifted up as if he was trying to cover his eyes from something. Was something attacking him?

"Conrad, where's the physician?" She heard Randolph whisper to Professor Schuyler.

"Gideon went to fetch him. I'm sure it won't take long." He replied as if it were a social visit.

"Good." His sigh was a mixture of relief and still restlessness."Our number one priority is to do damage control. We need to send the rest of the students away."

"Already on it." Miss Saella was the one to answer this time. Hands clapping loudly echoed through the open-space, "Alright dear students," A small smile played over her lips as her gaze swept the crowd. "... embrace yourselves. This will leave you with a great headache later."

"Don't be too harsh with them," Randolph said. "They're just children."

"Precisely, it will be like a lullaby." She tossed over her shoulder with a grin, "Venite, filioli, et ego ducam te abstulit est terra incantationem." her sweet, velvet-soft voice being able to reach out to all the presents, enthralling one at each time,"Sequitur dulcis liberos, ostendam tibi viam per omnes dolores et dolorum." the words so much compelling that they seemed to have finally calmed down. They remained still, listening to her. "Hush nunc, dilectissimi filii, oportet hoc modo ut fessos de vita et deceptions."

As she continued to seemingly sing, Luca grabbed Aurora by the elbow and pulled her back towards the nearest pillar, hoping to hide behind it."Aurora... Aurora! Hey... Aurora!" He shouted in a voice that was barely audible.

"Lu... wa...yu... wer..." She attempted to speak, but words failed her.

"You mustn't listen to her-- her song is like the Hamelin's flute, remember the Hamelin's fluteThe one from the kid's tale?" He asked in a hurry."She'll hypnotize you until you follow her on your own accord, just like that man did with the rats and the children. Do you understand?"
