Sorry for not updating in a while. I wrote so much a bit ago because I was distracting myself from my feelings for someone, so now I'm over the person and my writing went *plop*.
Hehe, Anyways! This is going to be a short filler, but it does add to the plot line A LOT so- though, there is no Taekook interaction in this chapter, it's important and interesting, most definitely.
Xoxo,
Enjoy!

[Unedited...]It wasn't even two days later when Taehyung was scheduled to see Sayna again. And honestly, he thought he would mind spending a full day with Sayna more then he did. Surprisingly, it wasn't all that bad. The high class woman was mannered but not so mannered she was stuck up. Taehyung, himself, had caught on to multiple signs that she wasn't like the women he had met in the past.
Kind but not overly sweet. A smooth talker and also listened very well. She wasn't afraid to express her opinion but didn't force it on Taehyung. Good posture but not stiff. She wasn't nervous and didn't treat Taehyung like he was some God.
She talked to him like they were equal, and goodness did Taehyung appreciate that. He felt like he could let loose a bit around her—after all, they were alone.
The two had spent most of the day doing small activities, like walks in the garden. Things like that. But now, just before sunset, the two sat on the roof of the palace, watching the sky as they talked.
"So about the marriage thing." Sayna started a new topic. Taehyung hummed softly, looking at her from the comfortable lawn chair he saw on, just a few feet away from her. "I'm guessing it came to a surprise to you too?" She asked.
Taehyung sighed softly, nodding. "That it did. I honestly thought my Father and I had come up with an agreement that I wouldn't marry until I was twenty-four. But I guess he changed those plans." He confessed. Sayna nodded, understanding.
"Same with me—kind of." She let out. My parents never actually talked to me about marriage—I thought I was free to pick who I wanted to marry. But then surprise, you're marrying the prince of Choseon." She told, a faint and humorless chuckle leave her lips.
"It was a real shock." She added.
Taehyung understood that feeling. "I know that feeling. I kinda just assumed I would be able to pick my.. bride." The word felt weird on his tongue. Bride.
"Me too." She agreed. "I guess it's just weird. Because I barely know you...and don't get me wrong you seem like a very good person, it's just abnormal to think of marrying someone I barely know." She confessed, partly honest. But keeping more to herself then she said.
Taehyung did the same. Keeping things to himself for the sake of his reputation. "I completely agree." He nodded, watching the sky start to change color as the sun set on the horizon.
A moment of peaceful silence fell over the two before Sayna decided to say something more.
"It's very pretty tonight." She said. "I've always been very fond of the sky." A soft confession.
Taehyung hummed, "Me too. I've always loved the stars." He said. "They've always seemed to give everything peace. Like laying your eyes upon them brings you to a whole other world. A world that we know so little about. I think we take the sky for granted."
Sayna agreed completely. "Yes, I agree. Humans don't realize how absolutely stunning and whimsical the sky truly is. It brings our warmth and provides everything us living organisms need to live. It holds the sun.. and the moon and the stars—and millions of galaxies in its seemingly, never ending universe." The woman said thoughtfully. Taehyung liked her even more in that moment.
