I honestly am so bored like ah.
I took a four hour nap today just because there was nothing else to do.

Anyways, this chapter includes angst! Just a fair warning :)

Xoxo,
Enjoy!

[Unedited, you already know it's gon be a mess]

"How was your day with Lady Sayna?" A small voiced question came from the Bodyguard. Currently, Jeongguk was holding Taehyung to his chest, the lights off and breathing soft as they relaxed in each other's arms. Jeongguk missed Taehyung, albite it only being a day since they had seen each other.

Jeongguk was given other duties to attend to while Taehyung and Sayna spent time together—thus not being able to see each other the whole day. Which in hindsight could have been worse, but Jeongguk missed Taehyung nonetheless.

He didn't voice it though. Thinking it best not to when he had heard from the staff's gossip that the "couple" had really hit it off. Jeongguk was jealous deep down of that fact, but at the same time, he was mature enough to know his place. Taehyung said they weren't going to lose each other, so he had to trust that also.

"It was pleasant." Taehyung answered, giving Jeongguk little to no insight to what actually happened.

Did they kiss? Jeongguk thought—No.. Taehyung wouldn't. Right?

Jeongguk's hand absently rubbed Taehyung's arm gently, his chin resting on the top of the older's head—the Prince's breath hot against Jeongguk's chest. "What did you guys do?" He asked, keeping his voice soft keeping any unwanted emotions out of his tone.

"Walked in the gardens.. watched the sky. All that." Taehyung said, missing how Jeongguk's breath stopped for a split second.

Watched the sky. That shouldn't bother Jeongguk. It shouldn't've...but it did. Because he had classified that as their thing. Watch the stars as they talked about their day's if it was warm and clear.

He thought about how they would have done it tonight—but he now knew why they didn't. He knew it was because Taehyung was out late but now he knew that he had already watched the stars.

From an outside prospective, it was petty to be upset about something so minuscule. Wrong to feel so sad(?) about something so small in comparison to other things.

They could have kissed. But he didn't even know if they didn't at this point.

"That's nice." Was the words Jeongguk finally decided on saying, making them believable enough. Taehyung didn't notice the hint of dejection in his tone.

"It was." Jeongguk could hear the smile Taehyung was wearing. He didn't even need to see him to know he was. That soft curve of his pretty peach colored lips that Jeongguk had fawned over his whole life. But now—he was smiling for someone else.

It gave Jeongguk a very different feeling.

"She loves poetry, Ggukie. Like me!" Taehyung gushed softly. Jeongguk bit the inside of his cheek, swallowing down his feelings.

"That's great, Tae." Support, nothing but support. No matter how unhappy he was with the situation.. he had to support him. That's what friends did.

"Yes. And she is so smart, as well. She talks like no other woman I've met. She not snobby, and she doesn't treat me like I'm the Prince of Choseon. She treats me equally, and it's so nice." Jeongguk listened to every word, each twisting the knife that was already stabbed in his stomach. But he listened. He had to be happy for him—he couldn't be selfish now.
