"We can't do this anymore." Hurt. He didn't want to end what they had. Not when he meant so much to him. But what other choice did he have?
It wasn't meant to be.
"Wh-What? No, Darling-" The younger tried, shocked. No, this couldn't be the end. Th...

Xoxo, Enjoy! - [unedited kfjdkd]
Taehyung didn't know exactly what his next move was supposed to be... but he did a lot of thinking after announcing the postponement of the wedding. The announcement didn't make anyone very happy—well not the nobles at least.
In fact, the nobles were quite unhappy with the decision. But they couldn't exactly fight back or speak up about their disappointments. However, Taehyung could feel their resentment that filled the kingdom. They all wanted the King to marry Lady Sayna.
Maybe it was that they thought Taehyung was too young to reign alone—or that they just simply wanted a second ruler, but they definitely were displeased with the pushing off of the wedding and coronation for the previously soon-to-be Queen. That was another event they had to deal with if.. the whole wedding even was still going to happen.
Who's to say it would or wouldn't, because at this point, Taehyung wasn't so sure what was going to happen or what he should even do in the present moment.
And so for right now, he couldn't care less about what the nobles felt—because their concerns were minuscule compared to what else he had to deal with.
So what to do, what do to.. Taehyung had a multitude of ways he might go about this... like going to his Father to see if he was okay—or perhaps.. justmaybe; going to talk to Jeongguk.
The latter was something that almost immediately came to Taehyung mind of what to do when he had heard the news of his Father falling ill. It shouldn't have, he should have already accepted the fact that Jeongguk broke ties with him but... he couldn't help but want to see him again, reason with him. Make him listen.
He hesitated to do so, obviously. And it took him almost a day of overthinking to actually step out of his bedroom. But, at seven:twenty four at night, his feat carried him through the corridors of the castle; destination set for Jeongguk's *apartment.
*Apartments: a building containing several individual apartments for staff—topically staff of the royal family or noble families.
But voices from a room with a cracked door caught his attention. Two female voices, one almost frantic and desperate.
"We can finally be together, Linnie, don't you see?" Taehyung recognized the slightly muffled voice as Sayna's. He crept closer to the room and stood out of sight but listened.
He knew he shouldn't be eavesdropping, but he was curious. Who was Sayna talking to?
"But.. but it shouldn't be like this, Sayna. You shouldn't have done that to my Father." Taehyung silently gasped when he recognized his twins voice.
Had Sayna poisoned his Father? And if so.. why?
"But I knew I couldn't live with myself if I went through with the marriage. I had to do something- a-and that's the only thing I could do on such short notice!" Sayna exclaimed, desperate for Taelin to understand.
Taehyung listened, piecing the pieces together. Sayna and.. his sister.. were-?...
"Please, Darling," Sayna grabbed onto Taelin's hands in plea for her to accept this.
Taelin met Sayna's desperate eyes, softening. She knew this wasn't right, but she also knew that.. this way, she could be with the one she loved. Even if it was only for a little while longer.
"Okay," Was what she got out, pulling her lover closer and wrapping her arms around her neck.
"Okay?" Sayna repeated, wrapping her arms around her girlfriends waist and holding her like she would disappear if she let go. Her eyes questioning the response—was this her accepting the information?
"Okay." Taelin nodded once, confirming a yes to her silent question, bitting her strawberry bottom lip softly.
Sayna broke out into a beautiful delight-filled smile and pressed her forehead to Taelin's. "I love you, Princess." She said in soft exhilaration.
Taelin let out a soft giggle and repeated the words, "I love you, My love." Fond and giddy.
Then they kissed, passionate but soft, lips meeting and melting like chocolate together.
Taehyung's heart throbbed for them, understanding exactly how that felt and his body yearning for his touch.. for his lips. Taehyung wanted what they had with him.
And that was enough for Taehyung to practically run to Jeongguk's room.
