It was dark, all I could see was the darkness. It was here, it was there. I couldn't escape it. It was consuming me. After only waking a few minutes prior, the overwhelming sense of dread began to dawn on me. Where am I? How can I get away?
From the dimly lit room I could faintly see the deep claw marks carved into the cold stone walls. Whatever beast made those marks it would be smart, on my part, to stay as far away from it as possible. Was this to be my fate? To be encased forever within these four stone grey walls.
Hidden in the dark shadows of the room, there seemed to be a slumped over body-like shape? Extremely wary of my surroundings, I decided to shift my focus away from the potential dead human. And onto the old looking wooden stairs that lead to an asylum style door.
The door seemed to be from the early 1900's era. The clear rust on the door hinges indicates that whatever room I was in was not used very frequently. The door was painted a jet black colour but was flaming near the bottom. There were some concerning red splatters on the door but for the sake of my mental state I decided to pretend they didn't exist.
Just after averting my eyes away from the door, I hear a deafening screech coming from where I was looking seconds prior.
With the room now illuminated slightly better, I was finally able to take in more of the rooms appearance and fillings. Situated around the room, there were many odd and perfectly fitting objects. For example; on a bedside table beside the mould-ridden, wooden stairs there sat a pitch black vase which held within it a single vibrant crimson red rose, another odd room decoration was the pile of unorganised cardboard boxes which held god knows what within them.
Focusing once again upon the now wide open door. I freeze in my place, too startled to move. Stood in the doorway is a silhouette of a (most-likely) male. With slow, purposeful steps he begins to saunter down the rotting wooden staircase.
"Now," they say with purpose "You are probably wondering why you are here, correct?" They spoke with such purpose i was unsure whether the question was one they wanted answered or not.
"Well the fact is," Well that answered my question. Was he pausing to add dramatic effect? "Love, the thing is. Well i just find you so...so..interesting." Well this is weird. Not how i expected my day to go.
He was now half way down the steps and speeding his steps. From his silhouette i could tel he had a fairly muscular build, with broad shoulders. What he was wearing looked to be a broad shouldered suit and that's all I could see.
But the thing that caught me off guard once he reached the bottom of the steps was his height. He looked to be around 5 foot, 5 inches. Now with me being the 6 foot human I am, I found this very amusing. To say it caught me off guard would be an understatement.
Before he could even start his dramatic speech again, I had bursted into laughter. He stopped still, seemingly speechless. To break the silence and to fuel more laughs from myself, I said simply "If that's your height, I can only imagine the size of everything else."Okay so, I know this chapter was far from what you all deserve but I'm really stumped for ideas so I think I'll be taking ANOTHER break just to collect my thoughts and make stories that you might actually want to read. I don't know how long I'll be on break for but we'll see. Hope you're all staying safe! Oh and just so you all know after my break I'm gonna try writing a lemon/smut chapter but if it doesn't turn out well, hopefully you'll never have to see it. Anywho, I'm out for now!
