I do not own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter.
This is going to be a Romione fluff chapter. Only the first part is important, you can skip this chapter if you want, all you need to know is that Ron and Hermione are not "fighting" anymore.
---------------------------------------------------------Hermione's POV
I was just finishing rereading "A History of Magic" by Batilda Bagshot when I heard footsteps and heavy panting from behind me. I looked around to see Ron coming toward me as if he had just ran to the library.
"Hermione." He said.
"Uh, yeah?" I asked.
"Quiet you two! This is a library, not a meeting center!" Came the stern voice of Madam Pince somewhere to our left.
"Sorry." Ron and I said together, making us both blush a little.
"Can we talk?" Ron whispered.
My heart sank. He didn't want to be with me anymore. This was him trying to break up with me. "Sure." I said miserably.
He gestured for me to come outside the library with him and I followed.
"So, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. You are the best thing that's ever happened to me and I love you." He said, walking towards Gryffindor Tower.
I stared at him. "Wh-- what?"
"Oh, um, if you don't want to take me back that's fine."
I flung my arms around him, kissing his lips. They tasted like butterbeer and cake, I assumed from his dinner. After a moment of being stunned, Ron regained his wits and kissed me back. For a moment, nothing but the two of us mattered. An asteroid could have hit the planet and wiped out all life, and I wouldn't have cared. (A/N: Anyone know where that is from?)
Just then, an annoyed voice came from behind Ron and I. "Well, are you going to give me the password or snog all day?
Ron and I had reached the portrait of the Fat Lady and not realized it. I pulled away from Ron and noticed that his cheeks were bright red- mine probably weren't much better.
"Eh, sorry. Quintus's Laptop." I muttered. The portrait swung open to reveal the Gryffindor Common Room.
There was nobody else in the room, so Ron and I took the best armchairs by the fire, which was dying rapidly.
After ten minutes if sitting and talking, the fire finally burned out. I didn't realize until then how much it was keeping Ron and I warm and I suddenly felt very cold
Ron seemed to notice me shivering and took the last blanket off of the blanket box (A/N: I don't know, just go with it.) and draped it around my shoulders. The blanket was very warm, but I could tell Ron needed it too.
"No, you take the blanket. You seem to need it more than I do." I told him.
Ron shook his head and tried to stop me from giving it to him.
"No, you take it." He insisted
My eyes strayed from his over to a comfy couch in the corner of the room. The blanket was big enough for both of us and so was the couch.
Ron seemed to know what I was thinking. He got up and went over to the couch. I followed behind him and sat down next on the right side of the couch and put the blanket on our lap.
"I love you." He told me
"I love you too." I agreed.
Ron's POV
She fell asleep. On my shoulder.
Hermione and I talked the night away, but I could tell she was getting tired. After a comfortable silence where both of us were lost in our own thoughts, Hermione's head just sort of... came down to my shoulder. I looked at her in surprise and saw her eyes closed and heavy breathing coming from her.
I smiled to myself as I got into a more comfortable sleeping position, not caring what people would think in the morning. There was no way I could get Hermione up the stairs because of the slide-thing and all the girls were upstairs.
"Hello? Ron, Hermione, wake up!" Harry was tapping on my head in a way that hurt very much.
"What'ya want?" I said sleepily."You two fell asleep." He answered. At this Hermione's head snapped up to stare at Harry.
"No, that can't be right." Hermione denied. "How'd you even find us anyway? School doesn't start for like another two hours!"
"I woke up to get a drink of water and realized that Ron was gone. I knew he'd went to look for you so I came downstairs. I was going to go to the library, but... you're obviously not in there." Harry answered.
"Yeah, um, here we are. Not in the library." I grinned sheepishly.
"Well, you two can continue sleeping together or you could go to your separate dormitories, as long as you get a room soon." Harry teased. He went up to bed, but I didn't follow.
Once he realized that, he just smirked a smirk worthy of Draco Malfoy and left.
I looked back at Hermione and saw her beautiful brown curls covering her face. She was asleep again.
"Sleeping beauty needs to wake up before anyone else sees us." I told her curls, but she just swatted some hair out of her eyes let put a soft snore. "True loves kiss." I muttered to myself as I bent down to kiss her.
The kiss was passionate and became two-sided, telling me that she was awake. I pulled away as I said, "Good nap?"
She nodded and gave me a quick peck on the lips before heading to her dormitory. I followed her lead after putting the blanket back, thinking to myself how amazing my girlfriend was.
