Chapter 24

Damn assholes, I might be a hacker, but that doesn't mean they need to treat me like shit.

Bakugo POV

The heroes rush into the building and immediately begin spreading out around the large room. One of the heroes reach the other end of the room where other doors are, but none of them open. The heroes try to break them down, but a loud slam behind them stops them. The door they came in through just slammed closed and a voice comes over an intercom.

"Ah, heroes. Welcome to my prison box. You are now in a quirk nullifying room. We will come and get you one at a time, fight us and we will kill Eraserhead." The voice says as one of the doors open and a few large thugs walk into the room, grab a hero and walk back through the door, closing it behind them.

"FUCK THAT!" Bakugo yells as he runs towards the door that they came in through, but right as he reaches it a sharp shock knocks him back.

Kirishima and Kaminari catch him as they looks around the room.

"Lets look around Bakubro, there's gotta be a way out." Kirishima says.

Bakugo growls lowly but follows them as they walk. They look around the room, it's big and all of the walls are made of metal. The ceilings are about twenty feet high by Bakugo's estimation and the floor is made of some quartz like tile. As they walk, Bakugo estimates the dimensions of the room being about 50 feet by 80 feet. As they walk a door slams open and another hero is taken into the dark rooms. Bakugo isn't sure exactly what's going on, but it's giving him a bad feeling. He walks back over to look at a door on the north side of the room. The door they came in is on the east and the door that heroes keep getting taken into is on the west. Bakugo examines the door and notices that the door is surrounded by wood. He nears it and carefully tries touching it, but acts like he gets shocked. However, he didn't. He found an opening.

~Izuku POV

Izuku sits on the couch, worried and sad that he didn't go, but he understands Bakugo's points. He turns on the tv to distract himself from the situation and he walks to the kitchen. He looks around the pantry and finds no popcorn. Groaning a bit, he walks to the door to head downstairs in search of popcorn. Once he gets into the kitchen, he opens the class shared cabinet and sees a few bags, he grabs one and starts walking back to his room, but hears a door open. He quickly hides behind a couch as he peaks around the side at the room to see what is going on.

Peeking around, he sees all might walking into the common room and over to the tv. Izuku steps out from his spot and slowly walks over. All Might hears him and jumps to his feet within a few seconds before turning to face Izuku, but quickly relaxes when he sees Izuku is walking up to him. A confused expression makes its way across his face as he realizes Izuku is still here.

"Why didn't you go on the mission?" All Might asks.

"Bakugo asked me not to... Want to hang out in my room?" Izuku asks hopefully, wanting some company.

All Might smiles and walks over to Izuku, "Of course young Midoriya."

Izuku leads him upstairs to his room and All Might sits on the couch as Izuku pops the popcorn before going to sit down with All Might. Izuku turns his show back on after checking to be sure All Might is alright with watching the show. They sit in comfortable silence, Izuku offering some of the popcorn to All Might, who denies his offer.

I hope the mission is going okay. Be home safe Kacchan.

~Bakugo POV

He turns to Kirishima and Kaminari and nods for them to keep walking. They finish their walk around the room, having found nothing and make their way to the hero who was leading the mission. As they make their way over, they hear whispers of other heroes trying to figure out ways out and thinking of trying to go through the floor and breaking a door. Once they reach the heroes side, Bakugo grunts to get his attention.

"Ah, Ground Zero. Are you alright? I saw that shock you took earlier." The hero asks.

"I'm fine. I found a way out of this room." Bakugo whispers.

"Oh? What'd you find?" The hero asks suddenly more interested.

"The door over there is surrounded by wood," Bakugo says as he nods to the door he found, "I touched it and didn't get shocked. I think we could get out of the door."

"Nice find Ground Zero." The hero says as he thinks before adding, "I thought I heard that you had a mate? I don't see him anywhere?"

"I made him stay home, he wasn't feeling well." Bakugo says, quickly covering for izuku's absence.

"Ah, well hope he feels better. Lets get out of here so you can go see him." The hero says as they turn to get their assistant's attention.

After a few minutes a plan is formed to sneak Bakugo, Kirishima, and Kaminari through the door to search for an escape. They begin to start moving for their plan, but a door slams open and a hero is thrown out of the door, landing on the floor with a loud thud and not moving. Their body is covered in cuts, stabs, and blood. One of the healing heroes runs over and checks on their status, but their eyes cloud with sadness as they shake their head no and cover the dead heroes face. After seeing that, the heroes move to the door with even more conviction to get out. Once they cover the door, Bakugo tests to see if it will open, unluckily it is locked, but a hero smashes the handle so it will open and they file through, the door being closed behind them. They come out into a dark hallway, it's barely lit enough to see the floor so they very slowly begin moving forward to search for an exit. As they come up to a corner, Bakugo peeks around and immediately moves back. A Villain is walking down the hall, their just a shadow, but Bakugo can tell they are powerful.

"Damn assholes, I might be a hacker, but that doesn't mean they need to treat me like shit." Says the villain, a masculine, teenage voice coming through.

He walks into the hallway crossing theirs, within view of them and suddenly stops walking, "I can smell a mate..."
