Chapter 12: The Omega's Struggle

The class is horrified.

~Bakugo

Hearing the bedroom door close, he gets up and walks towards the bedroom. He saw the empty plate and cup sitting on the tray outside the door. He picks it up and washes it off before he walks back to the door and opens it. Izuku's sitting in the corner, leaning against the wall barely conscious.

"Wh-why al...alpha why?" He asks as he collapses to the floor.

"I'm sorry. I had to help you out of this state. The internet said if I gave you a sleeping drug you'd be out of it when you woke up." Bakugo walks over and picks Izuku up, setting him on the bed, "I love you Deku." He gives Izuku a kiss as he passes out. Bakugo crawls into bed and pulls him into a protective hug as he drifts off to sleep.

The next morning, Bakugo wakes before Izuku and waits for him to wake up. A short time later, Izuku starts to wake up. Izuku's scent starts filling with fear. Bakugo immediately hugs Izuku closer.

"It's okay babe. I love you, calm down." Bakugo whispers in his ear.

Izuku tenses, "You... You... You... You drove me out. Why are you taking care of me? You don't want me as your mate anymore, right?" Izuku cries quietly.

Bakugo rubs Izuku's shoulder, "No... I didn't mean to. I love you. I still want you as my mate. You're my everything. I'm sorry for everything that happened. Neither of us were in our right minds."

Izuku starts to relax, he turns around to look at Bakugo with tears pouring from his eyes, "So... you still want me as your mate? You want me here?"

"Yes. I want you here Deku." Bakugo says as he leans forward to kiss Izuku on the lips.

Izuku immediately relaxes. Bakugo hugs him again and they both make their way out of bed. Bakugo pulls Izuku to the kitchen and sits him down at the table while he starts making food for him. Once he finishes making food, they sit at the table and eat.

A loud banging starts coming from the door. Izuku immediately runs back to the bedroom, going to his corner and trembling. Bakugo walks over to the door and opens it.

"What the fuck do you want? I was finally getting Deku back to normal." He complains.

"I told you not to go inside god damnit! Your lucky he didn't have a heart or panic attack!" Midnight yells at him.

Bakugo slams the door closed and walks to the bedroom. He walks over to Izuku and lets out a comforting scent for him while pulling him into his lap.

"I'll protect you Deku. I'm here." Bakugo says.

It takes Bakugo a few hours to coax Izuku back to normal again, but they are sitting at the table eating lunch while chatting. As they chat, Izuku slowly relaxes more and more. After lunch, Bakugo suggests they watch a movie and Izuku agrees immediately. Izuku lays down on the couch and Bakugo puts on a movie he thinks they'll enjoy.

He lays down next to Izuku on the couch and puts his arm out for Izuku. Izuku crawls into his arm and lays down on his chest. After the movie, Bakugo has fallen asleep and Izuku waits for him to wake up. A few hours later, Bakugo wakes up and looks at Izuku who is still laying on him wide awake.

"Why didn't you wake me?" Bakugo asks.

"You wanted to sleep, so I let you sleep." Izuku replies, looking at the wall.

Bakugo suggests they head downstairs to get dinner with the class. Izuku agrees and they get dressed before making their way downstairs. As soon as they see Izuku, they start asking him how he's doing and all the common questions.

"Back off guys, he's still a little jumpy." Bakugo says while Izuku grips his arm tight enough to leave a mark.

The class backs off and Izuku relaxes again. After a few minutes, Bakugo leads him to the table to eat the dinner that they made. The dinner turns out well, everyone is happily chatting and Izuku seems to be recovering well. After dinner, Izuku and Bakugo head back up to their room. Izuku yawns and Bakugo suggests they go to bed. Izuku agrees and they lay down to sleep.

~Timeskip to morning

~Izuku

Waking up the morning, Izuku turns to look at Bakugo. After a few minutes, Bakugo wakes up as well and they get out of bed for breakfast. After eating, Izuku notices his knee hurts a bit as they head down to the dorms to hang out with the class again. While their hanging out the news has a breaking story.

"Breaking news, a dozen omega's have been found dead today in a warehouse in town. It appears their chests were crushed and they died instantly last night. If you have any information about this crime, please contact the hero tip number."

The class is horrified, a dozen omegas killed overnight. Aizawa appears at the door, looking over them all.

"It appears you know what was just on the news." Aizawa says, "We have been asked to investigate and therefore we will be sending a few of you tonight to look around and see if you can find anything."

The class nods and waits for the decisions.

"Kirishima and Iida have been selected to look tonight." Aizawa states.

The class disperses. Izuku and Bakugo head upstairs to their room. They go to the gym to work out some extra energy. Izuku and Bakugo are standing on opposite sides, preparing to have a close combat match. After a few seconds they run at each other. Izuku slides his arm around Bakugo's and flips him onto his back. Bakugo swings his leg to hit Izuku's and knocks him to the ground. Izuku catches himself and jumps back to his feet.

Bakugo grabs Izuku's ankle and pulls, but Izuku was prepared and swings Bakugo around using his leg to throw him. Bakugo continues the momentum from Izuku's throw to send Izuku flying. Izuku hits the wall and he comes running back at Bakugo, he stumbles at the last second and slides on the ground for Bakugo's legs. Bakugo goes sprawling backwards, Izuku is on top of him in seconds. They grapple on the floor for a few seconds before they separate and end up on opposite sides of the room.

They jump at each other again, Bakugo lands a blow to Izuku's stomach while Izuku lands a blow to Bakugo's shoulder. A few blocked blows traded later, Izuku slides down and trips Bakugo. He then lands a blow to Bakugo's side. Bakugo jumps back to his feet and tackles Izuku, landing a blow to his head. The blow to Izuku's head makes him see red, Izuku jumps up and punches Bakugo hard in the chest, sending him sprawling backwards.

"Omega Stop." Bakugo uses his alpha voice, seeing Izuku lost control.

Izuku immediately stops and falls to the floor. Bakugo runs over and pulls Izuku into a hug. Izuku starts trembling, his scent turning scared.

"That f-feeling. Please... Never do that again." Izuku begs as he struggles to hold back tears.

Bakugo picks Izuku up in his arms and carries him to the bathroom. He makes Izuku a bath and helps him to get his clothes off. He then lays Izuku down in the bath and wets his hair. He carefully starts applying shampoo and rubs it in. As Bakugo rubs the shampoo in, Izuku starts to purr. He then rinses the shampoo out and fills a washcloth with soap, he then lifts Izuku to stand and starts cleaning him with the cloth. Once he finishes that he lays Izuku back down and puts some oils into the water to relax him. Bakugo leaves Izuku there for a while to let them soak in.

After he dries Izuku off and takes him to the bed, Bakugo takes a quick shower and heads to the bedroom. Izuku isn't in the bed anymore, but in the middle of the room again building a nest. Bakugo freezes and watches Izuku. After a few minutes, Izuku notices him and immediately starts cowering in the corner of it, as far from Bakugo as he can get. Bakugo walks over to the edge of the nest and sits down.

"May I come in?" Bakugo asks carefully.

Izuku looks at him and nods his head no, but then puts his head under a blanket in fear as he trembles. Bakugo gets up and walks out to the hallway. He grabs another blanket and pillow, taking it to the bed and laying down. He turns off the lights and Izuku slowly starts finishing the nest. Once he finishes the nest, Izuku lays down in the middle of it and drifts off to sleep.
