Chapter 26

Bakugo POV

The fifteen minutes pass in a flash and next thing they know, the operation leader is calling for them to start moving. They quietly open the door and begin making their way down the hallway towards the escape. As they turn the first corner the amount of tension in the room is palpable and as Bakugo looks around the corner to see it clear, he waves them forward as he moves to keep walking. The fear of getting caught still lingers in the air as they near the final corner and Bakugo looks around it to see a villain walking towards them. Before Bakugo can tell them to hide, the Villain turns the corner and aggressively jumps at Bakugo, but he jumps back just in time.

A villain, short and dressed in a black shirt with black shorts. It's eyes a fiery orange and black hair to match. The stance it holds makes it appear almost feral, but Bakugo can tell that it's actually an extremely stable stance. The villain looks barely eighteen, but looks deadly angry. The scent it's letting off creates a dominating and deadly aura. Definitely an alpha, but Bakugo can smell an omega on it.

"Keep going! I'll handle him." Bakugo says as he begins moving towards the villain, throwing an explosion at it.

Most of the heroes begin moving again and a few stay behind to make sure he doesn't need help. Bakugo lands a solid hit to the villains arm, but feels them suddenly chuckle as his leg burns in pain. He looks down to see blood trickling from his leg and the villain smirking at him.

"Come on little hero... Let's see you get cut to bits." The villain sneers as he begins walking towards Bakugo

Bakugo jumps forward and throws an explosion right next to the villains ear, which causes him to stumble in a stunned movement. Recovering before Bakugo can make another move, the man swings an arm at Bakugo and catches his arm, causing a deep slash along it as the villains arm forms into a sharp angle.

"One more cut to the pile there hero..." The villain chuckles as he jumps towards Bakugo

Rolling to the side, Bakugo throws an explosion at the Villain's leg and watches as it falls, but it rolls to the side and is on its feet in an instant. Bakugo stands and prepares as the villain runs towards him, dropping to a slide as it chuckles while its arms run along the inside of Bakugo's leg. Bakugo reacts as it slides by moving his arm behind him and throwing an explosion at its face before it can get away, in which the villain makes a cry of pain as it stumbles to its feet a few jump lengths away.

"I can smell an omega on you... Another for my slut collection." Says the villain as he jumps forward and thrusts his arms towards Bakugo.

Bakugo sidesteps and quickly throws an explosion at its back, sending it flying into the opposite wall near the floor. It's stunned badly and Bakugo takes a second to assess himself. He's bleeding badly from the cuts in his legs, luckily the villain missed his arteries. He quickly tears his shirt to create bandages for each cut in his legs, hoping to slow the bleeding. The villain slowly gets to its feet and stumbles towards him, Bakugo grabs it's arm and twists it behind its own back.

"You're under arrest." Bakugo says with a growl.

"More like you just lost your fingers." The villain chuckles as it activates its quirk.

Bakugo quickly removes his hand as he sees his arm forming into the sharp swords. Taking the chance, it jumps away from him and turns around at a safe distance. The villain huffs in disappointment when it sees that his fingers didn't get cut, but it looks just as determined if not more angry than before. Bakugo prepares to unload a bunch of explosions at the villain, determined to stop this fight soon.

I've gotta hurry so I can see Izu... He's probably worried.

Izuku POV

Waking up suddenly in the tub with a start, his breathing and heart racing, Izuku looks over at his computer again and looks for any updates, but seeing no changes he huffs and lays back in the tub. Izuku looks at his hand and then groans as he turns off the heater and climbs out of the tub due to his skin needing a break from the water. He dries off and walks out to the living room, looking around and then groaning before he walks to the training room to work out.

Izuku lays down in the weight bench and turns on some music on the panel before beginning to lift the weights. His arms straining and his face twisting with stress as he lifts and lowers the weight bar. The sweat builds up on his quickly and he finishes his reps before getting up and moving to working on his legs and then his back before returning to his arms. He continues this rotation until he runs out of energy and puts away the weights as he turns off the music and goes out to the living room to lay down and take a nap.

Bakugo POV

Bakugo jumps sideways as he throws an explosion at the Villain. Their fight has gone on for over an hour at this point and neither of them are faring well. Bakugo's upper body is covered in slight cuts that are bleeding and the Villain has extremely bad burns on his chest and arms, blood dripping from a missing finger.

Bakugo chuckles as he jumps forward and the Villain jumps to the side and off the wall behind Bakugo. The villain grabs Bakugo's chest and smirks as he forms his arm into a sword and sinks it into Bakugo's side before Bakugo turns and puts an explosion on his head, big enough to cause his head to fly off his body and he drops to the ground. Bakugo groans and breaks the arm-sword off of the villain and slowly limps his way to the door, opening it and seeing the heroes waiting.

The moment they see him they come running up to his side as he collapses.
