Maddi's pov

"Do you see this maddi?" kie asked looking over to me. we were checking out the inside of a house that was in the process of being built. "what?" I reply wondering what she was talking about.

"they're going to have japanese toilets" she scoffed.

"and towel warmers" I reply pointing to them. Kie just rolled her eyes. She was very down to earth and didn't see the point in all the expinsive things, which was stranging seeing as she was a born kook. She doesn't hang with the kooks though, she's a pogue even though she was born into a kook family.

We walk outside and I see my idiot brother balancing on a beam about 3 stories up.

"get down from there before you kill yourself" I yell to him. He takes one foot off the beam and pretents to loose his balance. I roll my eyes and he laughs,

"He'll be fine" JJ smirks"besides if he does die the stupid no pogue on pogue macking rule would be gone." He winks at me and then looks behind him as a car door slams.

"securitys here" pope states as he yell for John b to get down. JJ grabs my hand and leads me through the house. We all laugh as the two middle aged security guards try to catch us. One of the guards hops infront of JJ trying to grab him JJ drops my hand and I keep running.

"Not much of a hugger man" JJ says and he gets out of his grip and catching up to me.

"The bus is leaving" John b yells out the window as he starts the van. We're almost to the van when I trip and scrape my knee. JJ quickly turns around and helps me up.

"you okay?" he asked in a worried voice as we start running again

"im fine" I say as JJ hops into the bus,he reaches his hand out and helps me in. JJ grabs a beer and starts hanging it out the door,

"common gary, you're almost there" he yells at the man trying to catch up to the van. I grab the beer from JJ's hand and toss it to the man.

"the really don't pay you enough man" I say to him.

"Maddie! your knee, are you okay?" kie says in a worried voice. John b looks back at me and laughs while saying "did you really fall again"

"you're officaly the clumsiest person ever" pope says, JJ shakes his head in agreement. I roll my eyes and lean back in my seat. JJ reaches up front and grabs a napkin from the glove compartment, he pours some water from a random bottle he found laying on the floor over the napkin.

"this might hurt"he says while looking at my knee starting to wipe off the blood, I just now really looked at it. It looked worse than it felt, the scrape looked more like a cut. I must've scraped it across a piece of glass or sharp rock on the concrete.

"what the hell" JJ gasped as he started to pull out a sharp piece of glass from my knee. He couldn't get it all the way out so it was about half way out.

"oh my god" kie gasped while I just chuckled

"no wonder it was so deep" I replied to her, She looked at me like I was insane for not being in any pain.

"does it not hurt" pope asked concerned. At this point John b looks back still thinking it's just a little glass shard.

"Maddi, we need to get you to a hospital" He says as his eyes widened after seeing how big the piece of glass really was.
