Alex's POV

My back slammed against the cold wet brick wall as I continued to try and scream and move around till I looked at him as he kept his grip on my arm and his hand covering my mouth.

"Shhhh...stop screaming," he told me in a whisper as I couldn't calm myself down. My heart rate was increasing by the minute and I was so frightened that I just couldn't stop myself from freaking out; he then made the mistake of removing his hand from my mouth.

"Why are you," I said loudly before his hand covered my mouth again stopping me from speaking.

"Quiet," he said through another whisper. This time however he didn't move his hand but we turned and looked at the alley as the guys who were chasing me ran down.

"THIS WAY," one of them yelled as they continued to run passing us as the guy kept him hand clamped to my mouth waiting until all we could hear was the rain hitting the pavement.

"Are you calm now," he asked me as I nodded my head. I was still frightened and wanting so badly to just be at home right now curled up in my bed studying or reading a book but instead I was against a freezing cold wall frightened out of my mind because I was nearly taken or killed or hurt by those guys. "Were whispering not yelling," he said quietly as I nodded my head. He slowly removed his hand from my mouth as I took in a deep breath trying to calm myself down. "Are you alright," he asked me almost sounding as if he cared.

"Yeah...yeah I'm fine," I said before pushing off the wall. A chill traveled down my spin as I shiver and looked up at the sky feeling the rain hit my face before I sighed and looked at him. "W-what are you doing here," I asked him sounding as calm as I could but that failed as soon as I stuttered.

"Why," he countered back as I looked at him.

"Because you seem to have very good timing...first the coffee shop and now here," I said as he shrugged.

"Right place at the right time," he said before fixing the collar on his jacket and then stuck his hands in his pockets. "You should really be more careful...and it's probably not a good idea to walk around at midnight...especially downtown," he said almost as if he was giving me a lecture about safety like I hadn't figured it out for myself.

"Well thank you genius I had no idea," I said as he shook his head. "I'm going home now...goodbye," I said as I started walking off again.

"You sure you can make it there alone," he asked me as I looked at him.

"I'll be fine thank you...I can take care of myself," I said confidently as he nodded his head and watched as I walked off. I walked around the corner and continued off until I heard the pounding of shoes coming from a distance, I closed my eyes for a moment and then walked back to where the alley was as he was at the other end walking towards the other street, "ON SECOND THOUGHT," I yelled as he turned and looked at me. "Could you walk me back to campus," I asked as he chuckled and walked towards me nodding his head.

"Sure Princess," he said as I arched my eyebrows and followed after him.

"I'm sorry what did you just call me," I asked as he laughed.

"Princess...you know since you think so high and mighty of yourself," he said as I gasped and shook my head not believing he just said that about me...he didn't even know me and yet here he was making accusations about me...and I think that bugged me more then not knowing his name.

"Oh what now your all quiet," he said with a smug ass grin on his face. I swear if I could slap it away I would but he had saved me twice so I guess I could let him get away with a few snide remarks and a few smirks. "Come on you must have something you want to ask me," he questioned as I shook my head and crossed my arms refusing to look at him even though for some reason I so desperately wanted to.

"Why would you think that," I asked in a low tone trying to hide my curiosity.

"Well you stare at me all the time so I figured you either had a question for me or you just like to stare at me," he said as I gasped and turned my face to look at him.

"I don't stare at you," I said as convincingly as possible even though I knew he was right I had been watching him.

"Uhh yeah you do," he said placing his hands in his pockets of his leather jacket. Right now I was hating the fact I had asked him to walk me back to the dorm...and plus the rain wasn't making me feel any better either, "whenever I'm around the school area your always watching me and looking to see what I'm doing and when I finally look over cause I get that feeling that someone's watching me I see you turn away," he said which I had already knew he had figured this out I just wish he hadn't.

"So what makes you think that I'm looking at you," I asked placing a grin on my face.

"Then what else are you looking at cause the other day no one else was on the street and every time I turned back you were looking at me," he said as I shook my head.

"I was looking at your bike moron...don't think so highly of yourself," I said as he just chuckled and shook his head.

"Nice try but I know you could care less about my bike," he said which was true I could care less about his bike and to be honest it scared the shit out of me more so then anything else. "Why can't you just admit that you like looking at me...I won't be mad about it," he said as I shook my head.

"No but you'll be cocky about it," I mumbled as he looked at me again.

"What was that now," he asked leaning closer to me as if he wanted to hear what I had said.

"I said...I was also looking at your jacket," I said changing my answer as he chuckled. Damn he had heard me earlier...this man was seriously getting on my last nerve, I really just wanted to go back to when I didn't know him and was just thinking about him in my head or even before I met him that would be good to cause then he wouldn't be in my head at all.

"My jacket...really...that's what your going with," he stated as I nodded my head.

"Yes...I'm actually wondering if it's real leather or not," which actually now I was curious to know if it was or not.

"Why...would the little princess be offended if an animal had to die so I could have my leather jacket? Aren't all you rich people the same...always wearing leather and fur not caring where it came from," he said which was mostly true except for my family and a few others. We had actually organized a charity that would donate money to local animal shelters and also help other endangered animals, "I'm pretty sure you already know my jackets a fake and your just bringing it up to change the subject and distract me and it's not going to work."

"Your very annoying," I stated which again was true because he was annoying me.

"I'm not annoying you just seem to have a problem with admitting to the fact that you like looking at me," he said as I stopped and stood on the stair case leading to the dorm rooms.

"You really should stop thinking so highly of yourself," I said as I crossed my arms.

"Whatever you say Princess..."

"Stop calling me that," I said with anger slipping from my lips as he just chuckled.

"Alright but tomorrow when I'm across the street getting coffee I'll make sure to send a smirk your way when your staring at me yet again...and it won't be because your looking at my bike or my jacket," he said as he turned and started walking away.

"How do you know I won't just look over there to give you the satisfaction of being right," I asked as he chuckled and turned to look at me again as he walked backwards.

"Well you can tell yourself that but I'll know your looking at me because you for some reason like watching me," he said as I shook my head.

"Cocky much," I said as he chuckled.

"In denial much," he spat back at me as I rolled my eyes and walked inside heading right to my room so I could take a shower and go to bed hoping to wash away this whole night.
