Alex's POV
"Are you even listening to me," Lexie asked me waving her hand in front of my face as I snapped out of my thoughts. It had been a day and a half and I was still trying to think of something to prove to Taylor that I was badass and did more then what my parent's told me I could. I didn't always follow there rules and act like the good little girl they think I am...the only problem is I am the good little girl they raised and I never did anything to anger them or disappoint them.
"Sorry Lex I just am thinking about school work...I have this major essay to write that's due after Christmas break," I said which was actually true I did have a paper to write and I would be leaving to go home in a few days.
"Yeah essays are always a bitch...what's your topic," Lexie asked me as she quickly took a bite out of her sandwich and then looked over at me again.
"Romeo and Juliet ...I have to write about the love between them and I have to try and write my perspective on it," I said as she nodded her head and then I sighed and looked at my lunch before I thought of something making me smile. "I gotta go Lex I'll see you later," I said quickly as she nodded her head watching me as I ran off with my bag. I ran all the way back to my dorm and then threw my books down along with my bag as I rummaged through my room looking for something, searching for something that I needed. I smiled once I found the piece of paper and then I tucked it into my bag and then ran out the door locking it behind me, I threw my coat on and ran outside now running the few blocks to his apartment. I ran up the stairs and then stopped and calmed myself down catching my breath before walking down the hall and knocking on the door waiting for it to open.
"What do you want now," he asked me as he opened the door.
"To prove to you that I am bad ass," I said as I walked around him and into his apartment as he shut the door and looked at me confused.
"And how are you going to prove that," he asked me as I threw my bag on the couch and passed him the piece of paper before I removed my jacket throwing it onto the couch. "Wow...nice drawing," he said as I shook my head. "How is this proving your badass," he asked me as I smirked and pulled my shirt over my head.
"You got your things you need for a tattoo," I asked setting a smirk on my face before I threw my shirt at him as he looked at me with wide eyes.
"No," he said as I set my hands on my hips and glared at him.
"No you won't do it or no you don't have your stuff," I asked as he shook his head and handed me my shirt back as he walked around me.
"No I will not give you a tattoo," he said setting the paper down on the kitchen counter before he grabbed the dog food and filled his dog's food dish.
"You told me to be more badass...this is me being badass so give me the damn tattoo," I said confidently as he placed the dog food back in the cupboard and looked over at me.
"No...do you have troubles understanding the meaning of no...you said you were smart you should understand the word no," he told me as he took a seat on one of the stools.
"Why do you keep saying no...why won't you just give me the damn tattoo," I asked as he looked at me.
"Because it's permanent...if I do this it'll be on your body for the rest of your life...I don't want you to just say that you want the damn tattoo just to prove me wrong," he said which was true I was doing this just to prove him wrong however he didn't know that when I had drawn out the design it was actually something I wanted to tattoo on myself...I just never had the guts to do it until he said that I wasn't badass.
"I do want the tattoo and maybe yeah I'm trying to prove you wrong but I drew this because I wanted it to be a tattoo...I just never had the guts to go out and actually get it as a tattoo until you told me I wasn't badass enough," I admitted as he sighed and crossed his arms looking at me. "Will you please just give me the tattoo," I asked as he looked at me for a minute just staying quiet and I guess just thinking about everything I had just said.
"Are you sure you want this...and are you sure can handle the pain," he asked me as I nodded my head.
"Yes I'll be fine and yes I want the tattoo," I said as he sighed and nodded his head.
"Fine," he said before standing up and walking to his closet pulling out a kit. "Where do you want it," he asked as I pointed to where I wanted it, which was just below my breast and down my side. He nodded and then moved everything off the couch before telling me to lie down, he pulled some stuff out and started cleaning off some stuff and then placed gloves on as I arched my eyebrows. "Just a precaution," he said as I nodded my head. "Your going to have to take that off to you know," he said as I sighed and nodded my head not realizing that I would have to lay topless in front of him for probably an hour or two. He passed me a towel and turned as I sighed and removed my bra tossing it to where my shirt was laying and then covered myself with the towel, I lay down on the couch again and moved the towel so the area was uncovered but I made sure my breasts were covered with the towel. "You certain that you want this...your one hundred percent sure," he asked me as I nodded my head.
"Yes...I want the tattoo," I said confidently as he sighed and nodded his head. He walked over to the counter and got the piece of paper as he looked at it and then looked at my side almost looking at me like I was a canvas or something. He finished getting everything set up and then looked at me, "no color right." He asked me as I shook my head letting him know I just wanted the black inc, I was never really a fan of colored tattoos but who knew...maybe somewhere down the road I'd get a second one and I'd get it colored. "Alright," he sighed and then looked at the paper again before I closed my eyes for a second feeling slight pain in my side as he started permanently marking my skin with black Inc.
