Alex's POV

I groaned and threw the door open stomping away from her but she seemed to not get the hint that I didn't want to talk to her right now, I fixed my bag and quickly walked down the stairs as I heard the sound of her heels hitting the steps as she chased after me.

"Alex I am so sorry...how many times do I have to say it," Lexie said as she continued to chase after me. "Please just talk to me," she added on almost as if she was begging me to talk to her. I continued to walk till I felt her hand tug on my arm making me turn to look at her as I set a pissed off look on my face which wasn't hard because it had sat there since I entered class. "I really am sorry."

"You're sorry...I was nearly killed last night and all you have to say is sorry. You left me standing outside in the rain...you didn't answer any of my calls or texts and all you have to say is sorry." I said as she looked at me, "you have no idea what I went though last night. These guys followed me down the street and then started chasing me around the alley...I was scared out of my mind and I swear my heart was going to beat out of my chest cause it was beating so fast," I told her straight up not holding anything back because I wanted her to know just how scared I was.

"I am so sorry Alex and if there was another word for sorry I'd be using it but I didn't mean to do that to you...my phone just died so I didn't get any messages and I tried to call you before you left but it just went to voicemail," she said as I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms now even more pissed off with her. "I am so sorry and you know that if something happened to you last night I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself...I am so...so sorry," she said again as I shook my head.

"Apology accepted," I said and then watched as a smile climbed onto her face. "But...I will not be attending anymore of your stupid ass party's or going to lame ass clubs you hear me...when I say no it's a no and there will be no arguing with me...do I make myself clear," I asked as she looked at me as though she was thinking about it before she sighed and nodded her head.

"Deal...however my birthday bash does not count," she said as I nodded my head.

"That's a different story Lexie...I'll be there for that," I said as she nodded again and then hugged me tightly as I hugged her back. I cursed myself out as I took a quick glance across the street my eyes landing on him as he walked out of the coffee shop; he took a sip of his coffee and then noticed me as he set a grin on his face making me roll my eyes.

---

"I have to go...I have to go get some of those stupid file folder things for one of my classes," I said as she nodded her head as we pulled out of the hug. "I will see you later right," I asked as she shook her head.

"No...I promised Adam I'd help him with his homework...apparently he's flunking one of his classes and now he needs my help or his parent's will ground him," she said as I nodded my head.

"Understandable," I said before taking my keys out of my pocket.

"I do have a question though...why didn't you drive to the club last night," she asked as I looked at her.

"I thought we'd be drinking which means I'd have to take a cab home and leave me car downtown all night," I answered as she nodded her head. "Anyways I'll see you later then," I said waving to her and walking off to my car as I got in and headed down the street. I wasn't going into town today but I was going to the mall near the downtown area so that way I could just quickly go into one of the stores and get the stuff I needed and then come home.

The mall wasn't that big but it was enough to walk around in and shop in the stores, there were two floors and most of the shops in the mall were food places or places where the poor people shopped as my father and mother would say along with any other rich person you met. However I never really told them that I shopped in a lot of the stores because they would yell at me...but some of my favorite stores in the mall were the cheap stores. There was another mall in the downtown area that was four floors and had a lot more stores in it that I also loved shopping in...I rarely went there because every time I did I always came out of the mall with hundreds of shopping bags...I spent a lot of money every time I was at that mall.

After finishing running my errands I walked out of the mall and walked into the parking lot heading to my car, I placed my bags in the trunk and then got in and stuck the key in the ignition turning it as nothing happened. I tried again so desperately needing it to turn on but still nothing happened...and now my life had just became more complicated cause now I would have to take the one thing I hated the most in this world...the one thing I wish was never invented...I would have to take the bus.
