As I brought the eyeliner up to my eye,my hands shook terribly.I had to bite my lip and steady my eyelid to avoid poking myself in the eye.The day had gone so fast and now,I was more than ready to go to dinner at the Costas.Fidel was to pick me up at 7:30pm..and it was only 10 mins until then.

"I really cannot believe Mia Demorest is ACTUALLY doing make up "Katie said under her blanket."I bet you must really like this Fidel guy huh "I slightly blushed

"No Katieee,I don't he's just a friend girl"I smiled sheepishly.

"okayyy "she shrugged obviously not convinced but I ignored her.

With my makeup completed, I grabbed the black skirt and dusty rose sweater that I had laid out ready.Along with tights and boots, I slipped on my outfit.

When I played with my hair debating on whether to wear it up or down,I heard a knock on the door. Katie jumped for it. I wore the hair down and picked my purse ready to meet Fidel at the door.

"You look amazing with makeup Mia "He said softly.

"Oh come on Fidel..you don't have to lie you know...it's just makeup I'm uglier in reality "we both laughed as we headed for his car.The ride,brief and silent,was over quickly.

Nervously,I kept adjusting my skirt, even as I climbed out of his car.He held out the door for me in the most romantic way that I almost got carried away that he'd date me.My stomach tossed and turned with anxiety as the two of us neared the big familiar house.We were met by Mrs Costa and Fidel's sister,Anna.They both engulfed me in a huge hug.

"I want you to know that you visiting us means alot Mia...please feel at home."She smiled and I could swear that I saw her smile not genuine. She led the way inside the house and we met Mr Costa seated in the living room.

When he saw me,He was all charm,smiling broadly.I stretched out my hand to greet him but he pulled me into a tight hug.Unlike all the others in this house,Mr Costa gives a different energy he seem to be a very nice man."I'm glad to see you again Mia...please have a seat. "He said before disappearing in his a room that I assumed to be a study room.

Anna,Fidel and me sat in the living room waiting for his mom who said she'd go make sure dinner was ready.
I sat next to Fidel and he must have realised my anxiety because he reached for my hand and held me tight.My hand was clasped firmly in the heated hand of this gorgeous white boy.Warm tingles shot up my arm and traveled straight to my heart.My hand burned like it was on fire,but I didn't care for some reason I wanted to stay that way but I quickly pulled out with my cheeks red blushing.

"Mia are you okay? "Anna asked with concern written all over her face.

"yeah yeah I'm okay I'd like to use the bathroom though.."She directed me where the bathroom and I was gone without looking at Fidel.I hoped I could find out more since I was going on the other side of the house.
