3:What is going on?

I get bored when Fidel takes long to come back...well I might as well take a tour around this house....i hear footsteps and I stop in my tracks and my heart skips a a beat.

The footsteps become louder,they echo against the walls of this massive house I immediately have a feeling it is Fidel approaching I could smell his scent from afar.

Relax he is just a boy...act cool...i tell myself.

I turn away just as I see a shadow appear on the marble in the hallway.

"Mia! "

Oh my God.

Okay look...you might think am weird but his voice is so....good husky and deep and very very sexy i assume that his overly attractive voice only belongs to his overly attractive face.

"Aam I was just looking around...i hope you don't mind.....aam how's your mom? "I ask embarrassed at my own thoughts of how cute he really is and tall he was like 6'5 feet tall and that was very very attractive.

I was slightly above average height with caramel skin...
Usually I kept my hair low but right now it was long enough to braid but I liked it unbraided.

"welcome home "a middle aged man walks in on us and I flush a little at how close we were standing to each other.He grins at us.

An comforting lukewarm feeling overwhelms as he smiles at us.. "I suppose you are Mia.....Mia... "he says holding his hand out to shake hands."Mia Demorest sir...nice to meet you"I say.

"I really apologize for today....maybe you could stay for dinner..."there is something about how he talks and it it gives me a good feeling about how lovely and nice he is.I am literally over thinking it again just like I always do...

"Please stay for dinner dear it will mean a lot to us..."The chirpy voice comes from a brunette woman who is approximately the same age as Fidel's father...."Am Mayah.... Fidel's aunt...you must be Mia? "

"yess I am Mia.."I force a smile as she leads the rest of us to the dinning table....

I have a bad feeling about all this...i don't know...i just feel like something is going on here I just am not sure what it is....but maybe if I stay I'll find out what it is they are hiding.

I fish out my cell and text mom"I love you "

"thanks for staying"Fidel half shouts at me"But I have to tell you something about this family....we don't talk while eating....anyone who talks first during dinner has to do the dishes. I chuckle a little and I manage to say"no problem "before going in...

I am shocked.right in the middle of the living room in a stack of dirty dishes and in the kitchen is another stack of dirty dishes.

We seat down to dinner and sure enough no one says anything until dinner is done...i have to go before mom calls Katie and finds out where I was....suddenly there is a loud clap of thunder and it starts to rain....oh no!

"you have to spend the night you can't go out in this rain"Mr Costa please with me....."No...I.... I have to go its okay I can take a bus "Fidel grabs my hand and takes me to his room before I could say anything..

"Let go of me... What are you doing.... "

"you can't go out in this rain..... And besides it is not safe...you are staying.. "he says with a lot of finality in his voice.i can't believe it who does he think he is to make decisions for me.

"I am not staying with a jerk like you in this room all alone..."I say between clenched teeth.

"I told you not to flirter yourself you are not my type and definitely nothing will happen..."what the hell!does he have to remind me of my unattractive self....

"Are you ever not a jerk Fidel? "

"And are you ever not a bitch? "he snaps back "All am doing is protecting you okaaayy...if you want to go...GO! "ouch!hes so rude but cute...WTF!

"Alright I'll stay but on one condition..."

"you will tell me who Alexa is and why your mom thinks I am her"His face gets hard and it is he gets very uncomfortable hearing the name Alexa....

"I will tell you but also on one condition.....you will let me sleep by your side "I chuckle and my cheeks turn red...he laughs playfully

"am joking Miaa...Godd haha I'll sleep in the couch"he says and grabs his pajamas and goes out...he pops his head back again.... "Goodnight control freak "he bangs the door and leaves....i sigh and I take a moment to process everything...why am here?

There's a connection I feel in this house and I just can't ignore it...i have to find out why I was mistaken for Alexa and where that Alexa was..it is a very huge bed...am not used to king size beds I decide to sleep down.....I look at my phone one last time to find 10 missed calls from mom....ill take care of that tomorrow.
