I ran towards Kori, grabbed his wrist, and turned him around. He yanked his wrist out of my grip.

"You're gonna kill me!?" I said.

"I didn't say that."

"Then what's with the silver?!"

"Do you actually want to be a werewolf or don't you?" Kori asked.

I sighed and looked down.

"No, I don't."

"Exactly. I'm not saying I'll kill you, but I'm gonna make a few bullets just in case if I have to." Kori said.

When he said that, he turned around, walked down the stairs, and disappeared into a room below, presumably the basement.

I just stayed there near the top of the stairs, wondering if I should run out of the house or stay here for a while.

"You should stay here for a few hours. The police are most likely still looking for you, but when the sun begins to set I don't think they'll be looking for you." Neon said.

"That would make sense. So then I'll leave when the sun sets." I said.

I began to walk down the stairs and Neon followed me.

I walked into the kitchen and opened the door of the refridgerator.

"What are you doing?" Neon asked.

"I'm hungry. Got anything I can eat?" I asked.

"Let me see." Neon said. I moved to the side as she looked through the fridge.

"Here we go! It's a piece of steak from last night." Neon said.

I looked into the fridge and noticed a piece of steak on a plate. Neon took it out, walked over to the microwave, placed it in there, and pressed on the buttons.

The steak was heated up for two minutes.

When it finished, Neon took it out of the microwave and put it on the dining room table.

I sat down and devoured it quickly.

"Whoa. That's probably the quickest I've ever seen you eat." Neon said.

"Blame the wolf." I said. Then I realized what Neon said and looked at her.

"Wait, you were timin' me?!" I said.

"Yeah. I just looked at the microwave when you started and back at the microwave when you finished."

"I'm still hungry. I need something else to eat." I said.

Neon tossed me a chocolate muffin. I ate it in two bites. I looked at Neon's eyes to see they were widened.

"Still hungry?" She asked, her eyes narrowing.

"No, I'm good now." I said. I walked out to the nearest window and peered out.

"What time is it, Neon?"

"It's only five fifty. You can leave around seven thirty." She said.
Yuki's POV
It was the next day and Kira hadn't woken up in the beach nor did she come back to the trailer.

I was getting worried since it was six o' clock now. I set out to look for her.

I asked a man who was near the beach and said he hadn't seen her.

I asked a few more people in the town, but just like the man near the beach, the people I asked didn't see her, either.

This caused me to search outside the town.

Where was I going?

I was going to our neighborhood to see if she was there. It would take a while, but I was ready.
