Dr. Life POV
I lounged lazily with a bow and arrow, purposefully missing every shot, finding solace in the act. Elizabeth, looking stunning in her dress, caught my attention, and I couldn't help but admire her beauty.
Dr. Life: "You look beautiful," I remarked with a smile, prompting a blush from her.
Elizabeth Nefta: "Thanks. May I ask why you're purposely missing your target?" she inquired, attempting to steer the conversation away.
Dr. Life: "Well, I just find it more amusing to miss than to hit," I admitted, still captivated by her presence.
Elizabeth Nefta: "Strange, but whatever. Uh, Life..."
Dr. Life: "What?"
Elizabeth Nefta: "What am I?"
Dr. Life: "What do you mean?"
Elizabeth Nefta: "My magic is different from other Angels'. Why?"
Dr. Life: "Because you're special. You're not just any Angel. There's something unique about you."
Elizabeth Nefta blushed deeper at the acknowledgment of her uniqueness.
Elizabeth Nefta: "And what about you? Your magic is distinctly different. You can do things no Angel can. Why?"
Dr. Life: "I'm not just an Angel. I am a Life Angel—one of the highest entities, existing beyond time. Similarly, my brother is a Death Demon, and Lilith shares our ancient lineage."
Elizabeth Nefta: "So you're like an omnipotent being."
Dr. Life: "In a sense. But we've chosen to reincarnate without full recollection of our past, gradually regaining our memories over time. And there's something intriguing about you too, something that puzzles even me."
Elizabeth Nefta: "What's that?"
Dr. Life: "You emit an aura akin to ancient entities like me and my brother. It's possible you share our lineage, which could explain your evolving powers."
I pondered this revelation as Life interrupted my thoughts.
Dr. Life: "No need to dwell on it. How about you retire for the night? It's getting late, and you must be tired."
As if on cue, a yawn escaped my lips.
Elizabeth Nefta: "Alright. I'll see you tomorrow."
