Dr. Life's POV
It had been three months since I confessed my true feelings to Elizabeth. Lately, my memories of the special person from my past life, who turned out to be Elizabeth, resurfaced. But it didn't matter; I loved her regardless.
We were in the training area, practicing with Elizabeth's powers.
Dr. Life: "Your powers have grown stronger."
Elizabeth Nefta: "Thanks."
Suddenly, a portal opened, and I recognized it as Dr. Death's.
[Dr. Death's POV]
Walking through the portal with Lilith, I was surprised by what I saw. Life was helping Nefta with her powers. It seemed the problem had resolved itself.
Dr. Life: "Oh, hello brother. Nice of you to visit. Come in, Raphael just finished making tea. Looks like the problem is resolved."
Dr. Death: "Sure, we'd love a cup of tea."
We joined them at the table, where four cups of tea awaited us.
Dr. Life: "So, what brings you here, brother?"
Dr. Death: "Do I need a reason to visit my brother?"
Dr. Life: "Well, considering you hate this place..."
Dr. Death: "Fair point. I came to resolve a problem, but it seems it resolved itself."
Dr. Life: "Great. Oh, before I forget, take these."
He handed us two cards, which turned out to be wedding invitations.
Dr. Death: "Wedding invitations? For what?"
Then I noticed Life and Nefta's intertwined hands, and it clicked.
Dr. Death: "Ohhhhh. Never mind."
Dr. Life: "So, can we count on you to be there?"
Lilith: "Of course, we wouldn't miss it."
Dr. Life: "Splendid!"
He said, his usual cheerful self.
