Part 17

Lexi tosses another newspaper to her desk, tiny red circles circling local audition venues staining the paper. She lets out a groan and with a fling of her hand spill all the papers to the ground.
"Focus." She mumbles to herself pulling out her laptop and finally start doing the coursework she's been delaying.
She's exhausted of having to keep going back and forth between finishing uni and trying to be the person she wants to be and doing what she wants to be. She reminds herself every single day that she only need to do this for one last year, so she keeps going.
"Hey." Lauren knocks on her door before barging in.
"Could've been naked." Lexi sings.
She keeps reminding Lauren to wait until she says come in but getting ignored as usual.
"Sorry. I thought the fact that we're housemates means we've passed that now." Lauren rolls her eyes. "Anyways," She says putting her hands on Lexi's shoulder and slowly lowering her laptop. "Mr Popstar is in our living room waiting to see you. Might wanna-" She nods to the door and Lexi groans.
"Why did you let him in?"
"I thought you'd want to see him-"
"Well I don't, not right now anyways. I'm busy with this." Lexi says nodding to her computer.
Lauren shifts awkwardly before shaking her head. "Fine then you kick him out-"
Lexi scoffs looking up from her laptop annoyed. "No! You let him in-"
"Because he's so cute. I didn't want to-"
"Then you keep him company-"
"But, I'm-"
"Shh!" Lexi cuts off their bickering. "You're also wasting my time. This is due tonight." She says before pushing her friend slightly.
"But he-"
Lexi clicks her tongue. "I need to start on this or I'm never going to finish in time. Professor Mooney's going to kill me." Lexi says still attempting to kick her out of her room.
"But Niall-"
"Kick him out or keep him company. Go!"
