loopy

It was now morning, Jason hadn't slept much last night he just sat by Wil's bed waiting and waiting for him to wake up, watching his chest pump in and out as he breathed heavily. Since Stella had left him he hadn't spoke or saw anyone, the nurses came in but when they did Jason pretended to be asleep as he didn't want to come across worried, but once Julie came in to check on Wil she instantly knew that Jason was awake.

Julie: (as she was examining Wil) I know your awake Jase.

Jason: You do? how?

Julie: as creepy as it sounds, I've been watching you as you was watching him.

Jason: Oh.

Julie: He's going to be ok, he did very well in there.

Jason: I'm still going to lose him eventually...

Julie: yes but that could be a long time away.

Jason: but what if it's not?

Julie: This drug trial could really help him you know.

Jason: Let's just hope that it works, It's been so hard on him he deserves so much more than this.

Julie: I agree, no one deserves this but It's just life.

Jason: Yeah, I guess.

Julie: Anyway, try get as much sleep as possible he'll be up in a bit and he's going to need you a lot then, he'll be in pain, tired and loopy.

Jason: Thanks Julie, I feel so much better now.

Julie: I'm glad, and remember any time you need to talk come to me.

Jason: I will, thank you.

Jason's conversation with Julie made him felt way more relaxed and he finally fell asleep until he heard Will moving around, he was finally waking up. Jason got up and went to get the nurses, they rushed in and as he was waking up they detached him from most of the machines (except for the very important ones that was helping him breathe frequently) Once they were done the nurses went and he was finally fully awake! Jason walked up to his bed and touched his hand to let him know that he was there. It took a good 10minutes for him to fully regain consciousness but when he did he was still very loopy under the drugs.

Jason: Hey, buddy. You made it...

Will: Am I in heaven.

Jason: No, you survived Will. I'm so proud of you.

Will: Mum...

Jason: Your mum's stuck in New York. It's me, Jason!

Will: Oh hey.

Jason: Hey, dude. How you feeling?

Will: Not good.

Jason: You'll feel better soon, your just under a lot of drugs right now. you should probably get some sleep mate, and then when you wake up you'll feel a little bit better.

Will: Ok, but don't leave me.

Jason: I won't. don't worry.

Wil then fell asleep and so did Jason. They were sleeping for about 7 hours so it was about 6pm when they woke up! Wil woke up first, the drugs had finale wared off so he was in his normal state of mind, but still in a lot of pain! He opened his eyes and saw Jason fast asleep in the chair besides him, he moved his hand and he shakes Jason until he wakes up.
