Birthday meetings

Wil was still thinking about the eventful day he had yesterday, with his father making a return to his life and his mother's engagement, but today was going to be a good day! No new surprises (except for meeting his future father in law), he was going to enjoy the day with his friends who were coming this afternoon but since he and Stella couldn't celebrate properly together they both started their day with a face time call.

Wil: Hey you.

Stella: Hey!

Wil: You won't believe the day I had yesterday.

Stella: What happened, is everything ok?

Wil: yeah, but my dad turned up in my room.

Stella: Your dad, who left you 13 years ago?

Wil: That's him...

Stella: What happened?

Wil: We reconnected, and I'm meeting his family tomorrow.

Stella: That's nice!

Wil: Yeah, I'm actually really nervous for it.

Stella: I would be two.

Wil: And another thing, my mum got engaged while in new York!

Stella: Oh my god, did you even know she was seeing someone?

Wil: no but apparently they've been together for a year!

Stella: Are you ok with all this change?

Wil: I actually think I am.

Stella: Well I'm happy for you!

Wil: Thankyou, My mum will be here any minute now so call me later?

Stella: see you then.

Wil: Oh wait Stella...

Stella: Yeah.

Wil: I...

Stella: You?

Wil: I...I want to thank you for being so great with me this past week.

Stella: Of course, you've been through a lot.

Wil: Bye stell.

Stella: Bye Wil.

The truth is Wil was about to tell her that he loved her, but got scared. He had realised that he loved her and was going to tell her eventually...but when? he really didn't know.

Jane (his mum): Wil, we're here. HAPPY BIRTHDAY honey.

Wil: Oh hey, where's Austin?

Jane: He's coming now, he just popped to the gift store to get you some chocolate.

Wil: Why?

Jane: Well that's what people do when they visit someone in the hospital.

Wil: I'm here all the time, he doesn't need to do that.

Jane: Wil, he's new to this, be nice.

Wil: I will, I will, don't panic.

Jane: And here he is, Wil this is Austin, and Austin this is my son Wil.

Wil: (shakes hand with Austin) Nice to meet you man.

Austin: You two mate, happy birthday. how are you?
