About 3 months had now passed and Wil was as healthy as he could be, he had caught up with all his work and was still fighting his battle everyday and took what life threw at him everyday like a warrior. It was now Wednesday and it was lunch time!
Jason: Wil,
Wil: Yeah?
Hope: We have something to tell you.
Wil: Go on then...
Jason: We're together.
Wil: Oh that I know.
Hope: We mean together, as in we love each other not as friend but we're in love.
Wil: Yeah I know...
Jason: What how?
Wil: I saw what I assumed to be your first kiss at six flags, and then every time you dropped me off I would look outside my window and you'd stay outside my house for a good 5mins making out...What I don't understand is why didn't you tell me?
Hope: we were afraid you'd get mad, we've been beast friends for years and we didn't want you to suddenly feel like a third wheel or an outsider to our little group because your not.
Wil: I honestly don't care if you want to be an item be one I am happy for you and wish you all the best.
Jason: Thanks mate!
(They kiss)
Wil: (his phone rings) I'll leave you two love birds to it and take this.
(He answers his phone)
Wil: Mum? Are you ok?
Wil's mum: Yeah fine great actually! I just received the greatest news from doctor Hamid.
Wil: What?
Wil's mum: you've been chosen for a new drug trial.
Wil: What will that mean?
Wil's mum: Hospital...for a long time!
Wil: great...I'm gonna miss my eighteenth birthday!
Wil's mum: Just think about it like this, this drug trial could allow you to live more birthdays.
Wil: Keep on hoping mum...anyway I have to go.
(Wil ends the phone call and walks back to his table)
Wil: Great Katie your here...I have something to tell you all.
Katie: Please be good, Please be good.
Wil: It is good, well kind of.
Jason: Well what is it?
Wil: I've been chosen for a new drug trial that could extend my life length...
Hope: O my god Will that's great, but why the long face?
Wil: It means another hospital stay...
Katie: How long?
Wil: I don't know but it's going to be a very long time...And it means no smashing eighteenth birthday party for me!
Jason: I'm so sorry Wil.
Wil: I'm used to disappointment!
Wil walks away, even though he's usually not one to show his emotion but this time he was so bummed about not having his party and he was so fed up to going to the hospital.
