unexpected visit

It was now the next day and Wil had been doing incredibly well, he was still in a lot of pain and was still stuck in bed; but that was the new normal for him, well at least for the next week. Jason had gone home as his mum was now back from New York, but today he was there alone as he had his grandparents coming. It was now 13:00pm and he had been texting Stella all day planning their next date. He then took a nap and after an hour he woke up to his grandma's cold hand stroking hid forehead.

Grandma: Oh my poor boy.

(Wil's eyes slowly opens to see her and a smile appears on his face)

Wil: Grandma.

Grandpa: And me!

Wil: Hey. Before we start talking can you get someone to sit me up please.

(They do and Wil sits up)

Grandma: Oh honey, you look...

Wil: sick, skinny, pale?

Grandma: yes, yes, and yes but also beautiful.

Grandpa: So how are you son?

Wil: I'm in a lot of pain, and I can't move but other wise I'm good, really, really good.

Grandpa: Wil I don't think I've ever seen you so happy...who's the girl.

Wil: How did you know?

Grandpa: I know you very well Wil, Your only happy when there's a girl in your life.

Wil: true, well anyway her name's Stella and she's a patient here. technically we are together but it can't last for long.

Grandma: why not, if you really like her you guys should make it work; I'd love to meet her.

Wil: There's no way we can make it work, she also has CF.

Grandpa: Oh Wil, I'm so sorry.

(Wil has tears in his eyes)

Grandma: Don't cry honey. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Wil: (crying more) I can't, there's no way.

Grandpa: Wil, I wish you weren't going through this, If I could I would take it from you.

His grandma then hugged him gently while they were still crying, when everyone was calmed down they got back to talking and then they left. Wil then talked with Stella on face time for about 2 hours until...

Stella: So do you know when you'll be going home?

Wil: Not exactly but we think in about 2 months at it's earliest.

Stella: That sucks.

Wil: Yeah, what about you?

Stella: Unless I get lungs in about 3 weeks I think.

Wil: Not to bad.

Stella: No, I can't wait. to go back to school and go out with my friends.

Wil: Same! I wish we could do something together.

Stella: So do I, We'll have to make something work.

But then a man comes in to Wil's room, Wil's jaw dropped when he saw this guy; he hadn't seen him in so long and he didn't know if he was glad or not to see him! Yes you guessed right it was his dad, he told Stella he'd call her back and ended the call.
