- Want to know how these 8 friends met? Well, it all started with Shape Of Our Dreams Luka (or her real name Alycia Yancey) was in middle school. She was a loner in middle school, and she didn't have that many friends. One day, during lunch, Shape Of Our Dreams Gumi (or her real name Portia McQueen) asked Alycia if she can sit with her. Alycia said yes. They then would talk about their families, school, and other things. This would go on for a while, and it turned to meetings after school, too. They didn't have any classes together, but they were getting along together very well. However, when Alycia started high school, she had to leave Portia behind and she felt lonely again. That all changed when she met Shape Of Our Dreams Kaito (or his real name Bennie Drennan) in homeroom. Bennie likes Steven Universe and he had a Steven Universe shirt on that day. Alycia also likes Steven Universe. Then they started to have a full-on conversation about that show and characters from it. Even when class ended, they were still talking. Bennie invited Alycia to sit with him at lunch. And that's where she met Shape Of Our Dreams Meiko (or her real name Kaitlyn Appel). Kaitlyn and Bennie were in a chess club together, so that's how they met. One day, Kaitlyn got Alycia to meet Shape Of Our Dreams Gakupo (or his real name Mark Fortner). Kaitlyn first met Mark at a charity event. Now it's a group of 4; Kaitlyn, Bennie, Mark, and Alycia. Even though Alycia still misses Portia, they can still text and call each other.

- Before the end of the year, they decided to go on an end-of-the-year trip. They chose to go to an amusement park. Alycia was playing the games at the amusement park while Bennie, Kaitlyn, and Mark went to get some snacks. She saw Shape Of Our Dreams Rin (or her real name Jayla Peace) play the same game, but not get a prize. Alycia ended up giving her prize to Jayla, which was a giant panda plushie. Jayla was hesitant at first, but Alycia insisted. Then, Shape Of Our Dreams Len (or his real name Jason Peace) asked what was going on, and Jayla told him. Alycia then invited Jayla and Jason to meet Bennie, Mark, and Kaitlyn, and they said yes. Alycia saw Kaitlyn buying a soda for another girl, and asked why she was doing that. Kaitlyn told her that the girl let her go in front of her in line, and she decided to buy the soda for her in return. This girl happens to be Shape Of Our Dreams Miku (or her real name Hilary Shepherd). Hilary had gone to the park with no one else besides her parents, and she asks the others if she could hang out with them, and they all said yes. The following year, Portia ended up in high school with Alycia and they got to see each other again in person after so long. Alycia introduced Portia to everyone else. And that's how they all became friends to this day.
