4. Fathers

~The Next Day~

Boruto woke up, remembering the events of yesterday, the training, catching up with his friends, but there is one moment Boruto could not forget, walking Sarada home and kissing him on his cheek. He didn't know why, there was a possibility that he liked her. He wasn't sure but he was always interested in the Uchiha girl, he would always get entertained by her words. He did not realize he was falling in love.

He went to the bathroom, brushed his teeth and all did all his necessities. He, then walked downstairs, smelling the delicious scent of their breakfast. Naruto, now was always going home, giving time to his family, he had now balanced his work and family fairly. Boruto was happy now that their family is complete, no work separating them.

The family started to chat, as they were eating. "Boruto, do you have any plans today?" Naruto asked, "No, why?" Boruto replied, "Would you like to train with me later?" Naruto suggested. "Yeah, sure" Boruto replied. Boruto did not have any plans with anyone today, sparring and training with his dad could save him from boredom.

Naruto and Boruto was walking to the training grounds as Naruto didn't have a lot of work today. They were walking, "How have your abilities been? -tebayyo" Naruto asked, curious about the abilities of his son. "Well, I can control my eye and curse mark now, and I have learned a lot of Jutsu from Sasuke-sensei" Boruto replied. Naruto was proud of his son, he was getting stronger. Naruto believes that his son could be a greater ninja than him and Sasuke. He wouldn't be sad to leave the village in the next generation's hands.

As they were nearing the grounds, they heard someone yelling, with metal clanking. They checked and saw   who was there. They saw Sasuke and Sarada training with shurikens and kunais. They walked nearer and Naruto greeted them. "Hello, Sasuke and Sarada! -tebayyo". "Lord Seventh?!" Sarada was surprised, "Hey Naruto and Boruto" Sasuke said. "Hello, Sensei" Boruto replied. He noticed the targets placed on the trees, "How long have you been training?" Boruto asked, "We were just getting started" Sarada replied. "How about we train together, we were planning to train anyways" Naruto suggested to the group "Sure!"

They were training, and decided to spar as pairs, Uchihas vs Uzumakis. They were fighting and the pairs were separated, Naruto and Sasuke was fighting each other and Boruto and Sarada was against ons another. "I have shown you what I can do, Sarada, can you beat me?" Boruto taunted the girl, Sarada replied with her running towards him trying to hit him with a punch, while Boruto was just dodging his hits, "Afraid to get punched?" Sarada taunted back at him, "You wish" Boruto replied before teleporting himself, using the Jougan behind Sarada and then he grabbed his kunai and put it near Sarada's neck making sure she couldn't escaped.

"You have grown to a great ninja, Boruto -tebayyo!" Naruto exclaimed towards the two "When did you finish?" Boruto asked, letting go of Sarada. "We didn't finish it and came to check up on you" Sasuke said, answering Boruto's question.

The group continued training until it got dark. Naruto invited the Uchihas to Ichiraku Ramen for dinner, and they all agreed. They were just chatting until they finished their bowls.

They were going to go home, then suddenly, Shikamaru ran to them, "There had been a report of an attack just outside the village." He said, "Ok, make sure  everyone is safe, and tell Hinata and Sakura, we are going home late. We'll handle this."
