12: Recovery

It had been a few days after Boruto woke up. He has been recovering quite quickly since he was very cooperative with the doctors. Sarada visited him often, he appreciated her checking up on him, having someone to talk to and the pros of having her by his side. It surely motivated him to take better care of himself.

While Boruto had been at the hospital, Sarada had been training with her father. She had just awakened her Mangekyou Sharingan. It looks similar to her father's, with some little differences. She sought out her father's help, she wanted to train her Sharingan to be better, to be more useful. She would train with Sasuke for almost half a day. She would sometimes collapsed due to her exerting too much chakra. Her parents would always worry she might harm herself with her effort.

~few days later~

It was the day of Boruto's release from the hospital. He had been taken care of, but he still had restrictions. He wasn't able to engage in combat, and was suggested not to use up too much chakra. He was pretty bummed out about this, but he knew this was for the best. He had really matured throughout the events that recently happened. He had appreciated his life more. He appreciated the sacrifices people had to do, just to protect their love ones.

Sarada wanted to celebrate Boruto's release, so she gathered all their friends and family. They gathered at the Uzumaki household, they had been preparing the house for a few hours while some of their friends were arriving. They had everything ready, all was left to do was get Boruto back home, Hinata and Himawari went to pick up Boruto.

They had picked up Boruto and was on the way home, they reached their house and entered. The lights flicked on and Boruto was surprised to see everybody was there. Sarada was at the center holding a cake.
