Grab your pizza rolls and get comfortable, you're in for a ride. And I know I said I was using Beatles songs but I just watched Big Hero 6 for the thousandth time and wanted to listen to this cuz FALL OUT BOY. Deal with it.

The next day: Kyoya's POV:
"Are we all here? Where's that girl of yours, Kyoya?" Jing asked. He was excited to meet Haruhi and wasn't able to sit still.

"They're taking the bus, they should be here soon." I told him, barely looking up from my notebook to do so.

"They? Is she bringing someone else?"

"Her father, she is a minor after all. She can't sign all the papers herself." I explained. Currently, we were waiting for Haruhi and Ryoji to arrive.

"While we are waiting, let me introduce myself. I'm Makoto Mijitsu." My lawyer stood up and said, extending a hand to Jing and his assistant.

"Hello, I know who you are, we've just never met in person before. I'm Jing Mo, this is my main man, Bohai Duzi. Nice to finally meet you."

"Alright, I've heard that you two were witnesses at the Gala, have you written witness statements yet?" Makoto asked them.

"We have not though I've already printed the papers for it so we can get started on that right way." Duzi told her, reaching for his bag when Jing stopped him.

"Let's wait for Kyoya's girl and eat first, that can come later." Jing said.

"I really wish you would stop calling her "Kyoya's girl", her name is Haruhi." I said, annoyed.

"Woah, what happened, are you guys not dating anymore?" Fuyumi asked, turning to me. She and Akito just came back from talking to an employee they were friends with. Honestly, they were probably promoting the business, I would have been.

"That is none of your concern, we're here to talk court matters, not relationship statuses." I told them, waving it off.

"Ah, we aren't late, are we? You guys could have ordered without us." Ryoji said, rushing to our table, pulling Haruhi along by her hand.

"Not at all, have a seat we were about to order anyway. Take some menus." Makoto told them, handing them a couple of menus.

"Thank you, Mijitsu. You guys could have at least ordered your drinks." Haruhi said, sitting down at the end of the table with her father. Ryoji sat across from Jing and stared at him for a few seconds before extending a hand to him.

"I don't believe we've met before, I'm Ryoji Fujioka, Haruhi's dad." Jing smiled brightly and shook his hand, standing up to reach.

"Hello there, Mr. Fujioka. I'm Jing Mo, nice to meet yo-"

"Wait, the Jing Mo? As in, 17 year old Chinese business owner and multi billionaire? Why would you be here?" Ryoji's shocked face showed that he obviously knew who Jing was while Jing was excited at the sight of a fan here in Japan.

"I'm a very close friend of Kyoya's! We've known each other since we were babies, we're also business partners, though Kyoya never lets me donate any money to them."

"Because we don't need your money, Jing. You're already doing enough for us by being here." I told him, resulting in him standing up and walking over to me, slinging an arm around my shoulders.

"C'mon, man, I never get to see you. At least step away from your work for the time that I'll be here." He whined, grabbing my notebook and taking back to his seat. "You're just like Bohai, you guys can't stop working."

"Well, let's order our food, does everyone know what they want?" Makoto asked, laying her menu on the table.

"Yep, I think everyone's ready. Let's flag down a waiter." Ryoji said, turning around to look for our waiter.

After dinner: Haruhi's POV:
After we ate we went to the hotel that Kyoya and Mo (Jing) were staying at to write up witness reports. I wrote one too but Mijitsu still interviewed me separately to try getting more information to come back. After being asleep for a few days some memories got a little fuzzy.

"Haruhi! You've never been to court, have you? Are you gonna need help preparing?" Mo asked me. All in one night, Mijitsu has managed to set up a court date and is already working on social media and tv interviews.

"I've been to couple when I was younger, my mom was an attorney. I think I know how they work." I told him. Even for a seventeen year old, he was significantly taller than me, probably even taller than Kyoya. He had short blonde hair that was a little whiter than Tamaki's and just like every rich person, had the good looks to go with it.

"Oh? And where's your mom now, I didn't get to meet her tonight."

"Jing! Mind your manners, sorry about him, Haruhi, he's got a personality just like Tamaki's. He just knows when to get serious." Kyoya said, quickly walking up and dragging Jing away from me, barely looking in my direction while doing it.

"Haruhi Fujioka, right? I'll have to excuse my boss for you, he doesn't know about your mother. Sorry for your loss, by the way." Duzi told me, a clipboard under his arm. He was around my height, just a little taller but had brown hair and brown eyes like me. He wore a pair of square glasses with thick brown frames that took up most of his face. Even for an assistant that sounded organized like him, he still had slightly messy hair and a few imperfections in his suit. Not that everyone has to be perfect, just that nobody's perfect.

"Oh, it's alright, that was almost ten years ago anyway." I told him, waving it off.

"Well then, if you don't mind me asking, what is your relationship with Mr. Ootori?" He asked, pushing his glass back up his nose.

"Kyoya? He's...we were...actually- well, we were dating, but not anymore."

"Huh, that's a shame, I can tell he really likes you. Do you still like him?"

"I don't have time to think or worry about that-"

"Haruhi!"

"What now, Senpai?" I turned around to face Mo, almost expecting Tamaki to be standing there.

"Sen..pai?"

"Oh, sorry about that. I'm just used to calling everyone in the Host Club senpai. You also remind me of an annoying friend I have." I explained. This wasn't the first time I've accidentally called someone outside the Host Club Senpai, but I was usually about to catch myself before I did it.

"Well anyway, follow me, I want to talk to you." He grabbed my wrist and started pulling me into the next room that was connected to ours, closing the door behind him.

"Where's the light switch? I can't even see- oh, here's a lamp." I pulled the cord to turn the light on and it dimly lit up the room with a yellow bulb. The top lights lit up the room better so I started walking across the room to the switch but Mo grabbed my wrist and threw me against the wall.

"You know, you seemed quite interesting to me when Kyoya first told me about you, a girl who's a boy." He had his hand on my chin and was moving my head around to look at my hair. "Were you trying to be a boy, why is your hair so short? Well, I guess that doesn't matter right now."

He stepped closer to me and bent down a bit, getting his face closer to mine. I turned my head away but stayed silent. I didn't dare go against someone who was helping us with our case and had enough money to make us lose if he wanted to. As soon as I turned my head away, he stepped back and straightened up.

"Interesting."
