Haruhi's POV:
"All rise." A man who was standing next to the judge said. We all slowly stood up and I took the chance to pull my hand back from Kyoya's. When everyone except the judge was standing, the man began speaking again. "Court is now in session. Judge Karika presiding. Please be seated." More shuffling and we were all back down. I could tell this was going to take a long time.

Five minutes later: Haruhi's POV:
I was right, it was taking forever. And we were just getting started, the same man who was standing next to the judge had gone around and swore in the Jury and the defendants, just finishing with Kyoya's dad. I should really stop referring to him as 'Kyoya's dad'. It would be easier to just say Yoshio.

Alright, pause. Since I know none of you little fuckers are going to know how courts work, I'm trying to shorten this and make it so you'll understand what's going on, at least. Now I DO know how courts work but this'll be focused around mock trials. Yoshio and his lawyer is the defendant because Haruhi and Kyoya are the ones accusing him, making Haruhi and her team the accusers. The man who stand next to the judge is the Bailiff, that one guy who swears everyone in (you know, the "do you swear to speak the truth, only the truth-" yeah that thing)

Anyway, fuckers, this is only BASED on a mock trial. A mock trial is just an imitation of a regular court trial for students to get act out and get an idea of how court trial works. It's not going to be exact AT ALL, somethings (a lot of things) will be left out for the sake of plot. And for the sake of your tiny little brains. Unpause.

I'm guessing witnesses are usually supposed to sit behind us, where everyone else would sit if this was a public trial, but since it wasn't they sat up front with us. The only way I could tell was the fact the Mo and Duzi weren't even in front of the table. When they stood up to be sworn in, they just had to stand up, where as when Akito and Fuyumi stood up to be sworn in, they had to walk around the table to face the man.

When Kyoya was asked to stand up to sworn in, he walked around my side of the table, the end was was closer to. While he was walking behind me, his hand brushed my neck, an action that I felt he did on purpose. Whether to get my attention or to get me out of my own head, I couldn't tell, but it was working.

I just clasped my hands in my lap and looked down at them, at this point to nervous to try looking at anyone. I could still feel Yoshio glaring at me but I didn't dare look up. It's like I could feel everyone's eyes on me, whether they were really staring at me or not.

When Kyoya was walking back around the table to sit down, I leaned forward a bit so he couldn't try brushing my next again. I get it he might want me to think about something else instead of the trial so I'm not nervous, but I'm only nervous from the people staring at me. I'm probably the only person in existence that has actually dared to take Yoshio Ootori to court. Then again, I have three Ootoris on my side as well as their family lawyer and a multi-billionaire with his boyfriend.

As soon as Kyoya sat down, it was my turn to be sworn in. I carefully stood up and walked slowly, hoping to keep my balance. I wasn't dizzy or clumsy, I just get clumsy from being nervous, which was something I was right now.

Once I was in front of the man, he instructed me to put my rig He hand up, which I did. "Do you swear to speak the truth, only the truth, and nothing but the truth?" He asked.

"I do."

"You may be seated." He moved onto Mijitsu, who was already up and walking over before I could even move to go sit down. Anyone could easily tell she was a professional and had been doing this stuff for years.
