Blood Breather (Rewrite Available)

Slowly getting up, you helped Giyuu slowly trudge to any shelter that might take both of you in.

"So you learned another form"

"Yep, it's the third one, I call it blood extract, I came up with it on the spot"

"You come up with everything on the spot" you scoffed to Giyuu's comment, knowing that it was true in a lot of cases.

Walking for what seemed like hours, you saw a lit lamp coming to your direction, you saw it go lower to the ground and a silhouette coming to your direction, it was Kato Akemi (the lady at the clothing store), she rushed towards both of you and saw your wounds.

"Kato-san? What are you doing here?"

"I came to check on both of you"

"That's dangerous, what if the demon was killed yet,"

"Then I'll happily accept the consequences, but I knew you both would be fine, because I believe in you" she took the other arm of Giyuu and walked together with you 2.

Reaching the clothing shop, she opened it and placed the lamp down. You put Giyuu down on a futon in the back room. Luckily she had a spare futon for you to sleep on, the lights turned off, fatigue caught up to you and drifted off to sleep because of it.

In the morning, your eyes fluttered open, Giyuu was tying his hair and Kato was making breakfast for the 2 of you. Sitting up you realised that your shoulder was bandaged with some leftover cloth, Giyuu had the same on both of his shoulders.

"Ohayou~" Kato said with a little tune in her voice, she certainly seemed a lot more cheery today.

"Oh, ohayou" you said back. She laid out a bowl of rice with miso soup, a grilled fish was placed with a side of various vegetables, Giyuu received the same meal.

"頂きます" (itadakimasu, Japanese people say this before eating) everyone said and began eating. The fish was well cooked so were the vegetables, the rice was perfectly steamed with the proportions, she's definitely experienced.

"ご馳走様" (gochisousama, Japanese people say it after a meal) everybody said and finished eating), everyone said, as you and Giyuu finished eating, both of you stood up, took your swords and prepared to leave.

"Wait!" Kato called out and you stopped and turned to face her, "here" she said handing out a plain white haori with the exception for the back, which had a red circle with parts of the paint that has a dripping effect (think about the japanese flag, except it looks like it bleeds). "It's a gift for helping this town and me"

"But I didn't even do that much, I didn't even save your husband"

"My husband was a strong man, he cared a lot about my feelings and whether or not I should dwell on a subject for too long, he wouldn't want me crying and slowly ruin my life over him, though it might not seem like it, you've really helped me a lot, so take it, it's not like it took long to make anyway" she expressed herself, clearly much more happier, you smiled and took the haori and put it on, it's a perfect fit.

'How did she know?' you shook off these thoughts "Thank you ma'am" you said and headed outside to see Giyuu, yet again waiting for you.

"Let's go" he said, travelling to the same exit that both of you came in, you surprisingly saw Kobiyama (the sword guy), he waved and ran towards you.

"(Y/N)-san, I've finished your knives" he said unwrapping a piece of cloth and taking out 10 knives, they were as long as a regular knife, it was light and had bandages(?) (think about the ones on Inosuke's sword) wrapped around the handles, you picked up one and walked to a tree, throwing it in one at a distance of around 5 meters, it stuck directly into the tree, pulling it out was easy as well.
