Tomioka Giyuu: Gaiden

Giyuu faced a demon, it trembled in fear as he held a young woman in his hands.

"Spare you? You should have known, that begging for your life is pointless" Giyuu said with his trademark cold speech

"Please I swear! I won't eat any more humans!" he begged as he drops the woman, but his head was already off

"CAW! CAW! Head to the snowy mountains! Several hunters have been eaten by demons! Destroy all evil demons! Destroy all evil demons!" Giyuu got a message from his crow, several demon slayers have been eaten in the snowy mountains.

At the Northern Rest Point of Taisho Era Japan.

"A man-eating bear?" a woman questioned

"Yes, we call it a 'Den-Deprived' bear, many of our mountain matagi hunters (matagi are winter hunters) were eaten by it" an older lady answered the woman's question

"No wonder why the air was so tense around this rest point was so dense"

"Now now lady, don't say anything bad, I think it's better for you to leave here quickly right?"

"You're right about that, but this is the first time I had some free time on my hands for a while, and I don't trust people when it comes to buying a lot of herbal remedies... and besides" she turns around, revealing her blank purple eyes, wide smile and curtained hair, with a butterfly hairpin "a man-eating bear is just the sphere of my work... so if there's anything that you're selling me please tell me" the old lady looked confused

"You went into the mountains alone again!" a shout was heard outside, out the door was a girl being yelled at by an adult, she wore fur on her yukata and carried a rifle with her.

"I wasn't alone, I have Taro with me!" she yelled back, referring to the dog that was with her.

"But that's a dog!" the argument got more heated as seconds went by

"Who's that?" the butterfly lady asked

"You mean Yae-chan? She's the daughter of Matazou the Matagi, she always goes to the mountains looking for vengeance, after her father and his friends got devoured by a bear right in front of her, she's been like this ever since... it really breaks my heart" the butterfly lady looked at Yae with pity, until she saw something familiar.

Whilst Yae was walking away, a man grabbed the gun strapped to her back.

"Hey," she said intimidatingly "DON'T GO GRABBING MY SHIROBIRE!" she yelled and elbowed the man behind her, but the man was fast, he blocked with his palm, the long hair, cold face, and deep blue eyes, the man was Tomioka Giyuu, the butterfly lady recognized him.

"Oi Aniki!" another voice called out from behind Giyuu "you can't just grab someone randomly without introducing yourself" a boy up to Giyuu's eye level was seen behind him, deep red eyes, black hair with bangs covering part of his right eye, she did not recognize him.

"So you're Yae, Tomioka Giyuu 'demon slayer', tell me what happened when the demon attacked you" (I swear he does not have social skills) everybody gave Giyuu weird looks, they seem to be confused.

"Umm, are you a policeman?" some of the villagers questioned Giyuu

"No, I am a demon slayer" (facepalm)

"Demon...? Are you a political official?"

"No out organization is not political" the villagers were not convinced and now Giyuu dragged the boy into this mess

"Hey what's that on your waist?" one of the villagers pointed to the swords that were on Giyuu and the boy's waist, Giyuu took the sword, placed it down on the ground and began bowing, the boy looked shocked and confused but soon quickly followed
