The Butterfly Estate

Walking through the terrain and eventually stumbling across the manor, it is fairly large. Near the entrance you saw a small girl, she was wearing mostly white, except for a green band around her waist, she had braided twintails, she seemed to have noticed you.

"Kanzaki-san! There is a guest!" she called out, a girl with twintails came out, she was wearing the demon slayer uniform that was tinted blue over that was a white nurse outfit, she also had blue eyes.

"Who are you?" she asked in a firm voice

"My name is Tomioka (Y/N), I am the Blood Hashira, the newest and only blood breather, I am sure Kocho-san would have spoken to you about my arrival, it is a pleasure to meet you," you said bowing

"My name is Kanzaki Aoi, I am a worker at the Butterfly Estate" you looked at the nurse outfit

"You're a doctor?"

"I wouldn't specifically classify myself as such, I am more of a nurse and helper. Kocho-san talked about a boy with black hair and red eyes arriving, with a white haori and knives, you seem to match that description" she invited you into the manor, you gazed upon the different rooms and such

"I was wondering if you have a vacant position?"

"What do you mean?"

"I met a doctor yesterday, she wanted me to assist her in finding a cure to help demons turn back into humans, I would need an office so that I can examine blood," she thought for a bit.

"Yes, we do have something like that. Follow me" she walked through the halls and showed you a small room, it had an empty desk with shelves for books, it had a small traditional styled lamp "sorry it's dark, there wasn't any space for windows"

"No it's fine, a place with no windows is exactly what I needed," you told Aoi with a reassuring smile

"Your room will also be right next to this office" she pointed to a fusuma right outside of the office. I hope you enjoy your stay"

"Thank you Kanzaki-san" you bowed, she left pretty quickly afterward.

Placing down your items in your fairly large room with a comfortable bed, placing your knives carefully in the bedside table drawer, your needles went into the same place. Walking outside of the room, you decided to explore the manor, not many rooms really interested you, until you found a large open space, it resembled that of an arena, with a few white mats on the side, one item that stood out the most to you as a martial arts training dummy (I know this wasn't in demon slayer, but this is a fanfic, so shut up).

It's a tall cylindrical wooden shape with sticks protruding out of it (search up martial arts training dummy and you'll know what I'm talking about, I also forgot to mention that Giyuu has one of these in his house, he just doesn't use it), you got close to it, taking the normal Wing Chun (Ip Man's martial art) stance, doing a freestyle practice on the dummy, hitting, kicking and performing each technique perfectly, each sound of the wood being hit echoed through the room, finishing off your freestyle with one punch at head height.

"Impressive Tomioka-Kun" a familiar voice of Shinobu was heard behind you, she seemingly appeared out of nowhere but you were expecting her, you felt her aura near. "Where did you learn that?"

"From some old man taught me some of the basics around a year ago"

"Well you sure have gotten really good, although I'm not sure if it will come in handy in the future"

"Well that's up to you, I always think of it like this, you have a sword in your hand, it's effective and you've perfected almost every skill, but what happens if you lose the sword, what are you going to do now? So I learned hand to hand combat, it's also useful in humiliating my opponents if they have weapons" you smirked
