ONE; PREPARATIONS

MY FOREHEAD CREASED as I watched Bella skate around like Bambi on ice in her Wedding shoes. I'll admit, it was very funny. She also wasn't sold on the idea of shoes - I could definitely picture her in some rockin' white high tops but Alice had other plans and honestly, I don't think anyone could argue with her on this one. My hands shot out to catch her as she slipped in front of me. "Look..." She stared up at me clearly knowing where this was about to go. "Perhaps the shoes aren't a good move?"

Alice was visibly shocked. "You are joking right? What Wedding doesn't have heels? That's right - no Wedding" Well that's it settled then I suppose.

Rose chuckled from the couch opposite me, I shot her a glare and turned back to Alice. "It's not like she'll be the only one on heels, we will be in heels too" My hand motioned to Rose and Alice. "Bella just isn't exactly suited for balance. Right?" Bella nodded. "See? I'm just frightened she'll literally break a leg"

"Its possible" Bella was undoing the clasp on her shoes when Emmett walked in, holding a few large boxes in his hands. I can't even imagine what they are full of - the whole backyard was basically a fairy-tale. Lights, petals, chairs everywhere. It wasn't even my Wedding and I was getting anxious - i'd hate to be Bella. "Where should I put these boss?" Alice directed him over to the isle while passing remarks about everyone being clueless and having no vision at all. I mean, she was right but it hurt deep within the soul.

"This so exciting!" I squeaked. Bella shot me a glare.

I was getting really good and using my powers on the people I was close to. Jasper was always around me, not that I was complaining, which made it extremely easy to syphon him. Due to this, Bella reeked of anxiety. "Hey" The couch shifted as I bum skootched over to her. "Nervous?"

She laughed nervously. "You can tell?"

"It'll be fine, seriously. Alice is just doing her thang - you know she would never make you do something that wouldn't look nice" I placed my hand on hers and sent positive and relaxing rays into her body. Even though Edward couldn't read her mind, myself and Jasper could alter her moods which in a time like this was absolutely handy.

"Thank you" Her shoulders relaxed and she breathed out. "That feels better"

Rose stood up and clasped her hands. "Perfect. Okay, Bella - we need to get you well rested for tomorrow. Come with me and i'll take you home. I'm not sure I can handle Alice any longer"

Laughing, I pouted. "Please take me with you"

They both walked over to the door and looked back. "Nope, you can have her all to yourself. Good luck!" And left me. With Alice.

As much as I absolutely adored and loved her, in a time like this she was a total control freak. On the plus side, all I had to do tomorrow was show up and be the Maid of Honor. I was very much looking forward to meeting the Cullen's family and friends and being around other vampires - it would be an experience for sure.

Comforting hands snaked around my waist. "And when do I get you to myself?"

Jasper's gorgeous smell filled me with feelings I never even knew were real til I met him. His hair whispered into my neck as his head rested on my shoulder. "Hello handsome. And for the record, you've had me all to yourself far too often"

He fake nibbled my neck. "Not often enough"

Pushing him away, I smirked. "Hey mister - we have a Wedding tomorrow. It's a big day. What have you been doing to prep hmm?"
