SEVEN; OUTBURSTS

I MET JACOB AT THE front door of the Cullen's. He was here to see Bella for the first time since her Honeymoon. Jasper stood at the top of the stairs protectively, not trusting him fully - he was right to not. I was pretty sure Jacob still wanted to kill me, our once perfect friendship was thrown away the minute I was turned.

His lips drew in a fine line awkwardly. "Scarlett" I smiled at him and nodded my head. He peeped in, obviously sensing Jasper's presence. "Jasper" I assume he had the same response to me.

I fondled the door handle anxiously. He was absolutely about to knock Edwards head straight off his shoulders. "How are you?"

He shook me off. "Where's Bella?" Ouch.

Jasper's anger towards Jacob radiated down the stairs. I gritted my teeth, trying to be friendly for my sisters sake. "She's upstairs"

"Well is she alright?" The question of the month.

"I think you should just come in" Opening the door wider, he took a step inside and followed me up the stairs and into the living room where everyone sat around Bella.

I walked over to Jasper. The room stiffened and a mix of anxiety, anger and confusion filled the space. I could feel Jasper covering the room with waves of calm, so I joined him, hoping it would help what was about to go down. 

"I'm glad that you came" Oh god even her voice sounded frail. Her large bump was covered by a pillow and Rose stood in front of her protectively.

"I think that's close enough" I raised my voice as Jacob neared Bella, Rose smiled at me and stood her ground. This was tense.

"Do you think I wanna be here? I only came to see Bella"

My sister locked eyes with me from behind Rose. "Please, I'm alright" I nodded and Rose and she moved away reluctantly, walking over and sitting beside Emmett.

Jacob looked disgusted as he finally saw Bella. "Wow, you look....terrible" I quite literally growled under my breath at him, how dare he.

Bella chucked. "Thanks Jake, It's nice to see you too"

The room was awkward. Very awkward. Everyone waiting for Bella to come clean to Jacob about her situation - and now was the time for it.

"Jake, first, don't be mad. It's nobody's fault, we never knew this was even possible. Please" That caused Jacob to take a few steps backwards from Bella. She turned to Rose who sat closest to her. "Can you help me up?"

Rose stood up and grabbed Bella's arm, gently pulling her off the couch. Jacob's anger turned to anxiety. "Whoa, you're scaring me Bells"

Bella was no stood up as far as she could manage, her huge bump on full display to everyone in the room. Jacob stared in shock, quickly turning to Edward. "You.." 

Emmett tried to grab his arm as he stormed towards Edward but was quickly thrown off by Jake, Edward shook his head at Emmett, standing him down. Brave boy. Jasper quivered next to me, ready to make a move if needed.

"You. Did. This!" His hand flew around Edward's throat as he was smashed into the wall. Edward let him, he could've taken Jacob easily but I think he needed this. "It wasn't intentional" Ed spoke through gritted teeth.

My eyes flickered to Bella, who's face and body radiated hurt and sadness, that sent me over the edge. Before Jasper could grab me, I sped towards the fighting boys and grabbed Jacob by the arm, flipping him over my shoulder. I spun round to face him on the ground. "Are you kidding me? Can you not do this somewhere else?"

He stood up faster than he was thrown down. "I'll do it where I want to do it"

My foot went down. "Bella is pregnant. There's nothing you-" I looked back at Edward. "-or anyone, can do about it. She's fragile so i'd appreciate it if you didn't kill each other in her presence hm?"

Jacob sneered. "Pregnant with what? A devil child?"

That dog. I closed my eyes trying to compose myself, I could faintly see Rose ready to tear off Jacobs head and I was about to myself but I took a step forward and clenched my jaw. "It's a baby. A child. A boy or a girl and no matter what happens everyone in this room will love it, or I will kill you myself"

Rose helped Bella sit down and walked over to us. "I'll help"

I clasped my hands together. "Now, either take your quarrels outside with each other or take them outside with us" They both nodded sheepishly and left the room after promising not to tear each other apart in my absence.

Alice threw her hands back. "Well that was stressful"

I walked back over to Jasper and intertwined my fingers with his, leaning my head on his chest. I spoke into his t-shirt. "Tell me about it"

awkiesss am I right? sorry for such short chapters - I wanted to have Jacob find out in Scarlett's presence so she could literally go through him lol, she's such a bad bitch and I love it!
