Back at home after the busy day with Lilly and Marina, Ava was sitting down in her living room. In front of the sofa there was a sea of blankets and pillows on the floor in a improvised fort with some extra warm white lights that she had prepared for her and Marina the night before. Now covered by the teddy bear blanket, looking at the two bottles of prosseco she had bought, Ava couldn't avoid but to feel embarrassed. She was certain Marina had felt the same as her last weekend. Now reminded by her advice with relation to Bea, she was certain she had read everything wrong. For this Saturday night she was staying in bed with an open bottle of bubbly wine, a chocolate selection box and The Notebook on the television. Half way through the movie and a bottle of prosseco Ava decided to text Bea:
-Hi, How are you? Hope the rest of your day went well. A shame you had to run out this morning xx
-Hey, I know, unfortunately I had promise my mum I was taking her shopping. We just finished dinner actually. What are you up to anyway?
-Well, Funny story... I didn't knew Marina had that party organised so I had built a fort in my living room, so i am now watching a movie inside of it on my own.
-Aww, that's so cute. I used to love building forts when I was a kid. I actually don't remember the last time I have done something like that.- Bea confessed.
-Really? I am always doing silly things like this. I should probably keep this things to myself. Although I must confess I have drunk half bottle of prosseco... Probably is helping the talk.
-On your own? Hope you have had some food before.
-Well.. Not really, but is still early - It was around half past eight by now.
-I am going to drop my mum at hers. I cooked a spinach and ricotta lasagne for us. I can drop something at yours if you fancy. Really is too much for me.
-Oh no... I couldn't. You must be tired after all.
- Won't be any trouble and I remember from yesterday that you two leave quite close. Unless, of course, you just want to be left alone.
-Definitely is not that...- Ava responded quickly.
-So it's a deal, I will bring some.
-Well, so you will have to stay for dessert then...
-Sounds like I am winning in that case... She is ready now I will see you in half an hour.
-Right, text me when you will be ready to leave from your mum and I'll text you my post code.
-See you soon... (Blushed emoji face)
After sending her postcode, Ava started to feel as if she was about to go on a date. Now in front of her mirror she was cursing Marina. If it hadn't been for Marina's conversation, she wouldn't probably had texted bea, certainly too late now to go back on her decision. With her hair down, some blush, eye mascara and a nude lipstick she felt as if she was looking good, but not as if she had made too much effort.
