Your words break through to a song sung true
A light inside of you that you knew was there
Different we may be, and I'm smiling you see
Because the red of the apple holds the sweetest treat
Inside
And underneath the shell is where true value lies
We may be different but we both reach for the sky
With the hope that everything will turn out alright
Through our differences we grow and learn to see
A bit of life through the eyes of another human being
We find more of ourselves and who we want to be
