Well I just wanted to say..

And to check in.

Cause there are days..

That everybody needs a friend.

There are so many ways..

To say hello.

Day after days..

We go..

Never saying hello though.

Never saying hello..

To our friends.

Shutting them out..

instead of letting them in.

Convincing ourselves that we're better off alone..

But deep down, we know with them we're at home.

And I know sometimes its hard to reach out first..

And you may not want them to see you at your worst.

But you know you'll never get anywhere if you never go..

You have to let someone know..

When your not ok.

It starts with a "hey" or a hello variant of greeting.

Then you tell them, go on a say what it is that you are feeling.

And if they tell why you shouldn't feel that way..

And treat your turmoil like a sport they can play..

Or tell you having feelings at all is just stupidity..

And make it seem like your not allowed to be not ok..

Then they aren't someone you should be around honestly.

Go find someone else.

Someone who will actually help..

Not try to fix some problem with you..

Cause the problem with you..

doesn't exist.

There's nothing to fix.

You just need support..

And someone to check in..

Every now and then..

In those times you hurt.

Are you ok?

When you say your ok..

When you say your alright..

When you say it was the 'usual'.

When you say your just fine?

Is that really all there is?

Or are you telling lies?

Do you think the people who care about you..

Are too stupid to see the signs?

And if not, why do you lie?

And if not why do you bother to try..

To hide..

How it is your feeling..

Inside.

Do you not trust them?

Why the lack of honesty?

You don't have to tell me.

You don't have to tell anyone.

I just kinda wonder why..

Practically no one ever says hi..

Never do and so I..

Decide..

To say hi..

Cause they won't..

Or well they just don't..
