Fifteen

Leigh walked into the room that was Brooke was staying in. It was 4am but she couldn't sleep. She was broken over what Brooke had told her about Adam.

Leigh sighed and walked over to the bed. She saw Daisy asleep next to Brooke and smiled. She knew how close her little girl was.

Brooke woke when she saw Leigh sitting there. "Sorry. She came and woke me up. Said she had a bad dream. I just let her sleep here," she said.

"It's okay babes. I'm sorry you went through all of that. It's not right what that scumbag did. He's not getting away with it," Leigh told her.

Brooke wiped away her tears. "He said no one would believe me. That I would end up sectioned again," she sobbed.

Leigh looked at her. "I would believe you. I do believe you. He's not going to get away with it."

Brooke nodded and fell back to sleep with her niece.

The next morning, Brooke walked downstairs with Daisy. Max smiled. "Leigh has gone to fetch some bacon. She won't be long."

"Daddy always eats bacons. He says it for big boys," Daisy said as she looked at her aunty. She giggled.

Max rolled his eyes but took his daughter from Brooke. He put her on the chair and gave her some cereal. He looked at Brooke. "You're safe here. You know that right?" He asked.

Brooke nodded. "I know. Thank you for letting me stay. I appreciate it."

Max smirked slightly. "Your sister would have my balls on the chopping board if I didn't. But you're welcome."

Leigh had lied to Max. She was going to speak to Adam and her mother. Rachel opened the door and smiled. "Hello darling."

"Cut the joyful crap. Where is that scumbag?" Leigh asked.

"What?"

Leigh rolled her eyes and pushed past Rachel. Adam stood there. "Where's the cuddlebug?" He asked.

Leigh was fuming. She looked at him. "Tell me. Why did you think it was appropriate to touch my little girl? Tell me why you think it was appropriate to rape my sister?! They told me! You sick sick perverted creep!" She yelled.

Rachel frowned. She walked over to Leigh. "What are you talking about?" She asked.

"Your scumbag of a fiancée? He touched my Daisy. Told her to keep quiet or he would hurt her again! He raped your daughter too. That's why she called me at 4am. To get away from you!" She yelled.

Rachel was shocked. She didn't know what to think. She looked at Adam. "Is she lying?" She asked.

"Of course she is. I'm not going to abuse a three year old girl am I? I'm not going to rape a teenager," Adam said.

Leigh shook her head. "You're a liar! You won't get away with this."

Brooke looked up as Leigh walked in. She frowned. "How long did it take to get bacon?" She asked.

"Sorry. I got distracted. Where's Max?"

"He took Daisy out cause she was tempted to draw on the walls. Leigh?"

Leigh sighed. She looked at her little sister. "I went to see mum. She took his side. She told me to keep you safe or she's getting you sectioned again."

Brooke started crying. "So my own mother doesn't believe me?" She asked.

"It looks that way. But I promise you now, Adam Fleet will pay for what he's done. Even if I have to do it myself."

Brooke frowned. But how far would her sister go to protect her?
