"So," I was saying to Zuko after the whole team ate dinner, "Wanna... hang out?"
"Hang out?"
I coughed, "You know, go to your room, and uh... hang out?"
Zuko smiled, "Can you be more specific?"
"You know what I mean!" I lightly slapped him.
"I don't think I do," he feigned ignorance.
Sokka walked up to us, "Can I talk to you guys for a second?"
I shrugged, "Isn't that what you're doing right now?"
"I meant in private."
I looked at Zuko who nodded. We went to a more private area with Sokka.
"So, what's up?" Zuko asked.
"If someone was captured by the Fire Nation, where would they be taken?" Sokka asked.
"Ooh," I said, "You don't wanna know."
"I asked, didn't I? I wanna know," Sokka exclaimed.
Zuko looked at Sokka, "You should listen to (Y/N). She's right."
"I usually am."
"Please," Sokka said, "It's for my dad."
"Uncle?" I thought for a moment, "Probably the Boiling Rock. A maximum-security prison in a boiling lake."
Zuko nodded, "That place is inescapable."
Sokka nodded, "So... like... hypothetically... where is this place?"
"Hypothetically?" I rolled my eyes, "I'm not telling you."
"Yeah," Zuko said, "What are you up to?"
"Nothing!" Sokka exclaimed.
I grabbed Zuko's arm and walked away from Sokka.
Once we were out of earshot I groaned, "He has a phone. He's going to look it up and figure it out, you know."
Zuko rolled his eyes, "And something tells me he's going to try and save his dad by himself."
"State the obvious again."
"So... Stakeout?"
"Of course," I grinned.
We hid on Appa, waiting for Sokka. Of course, I suspected that we were going to end up going somewhere so I brought a backpack with a change of clothes for Zuko and me as well as snacks and a portable charger.
I laid down on Appa (who was asleep), staring up at the sky. Zuko crawled over to me and laid down next to me. He turned his head to me, "You look nice."
I laughed.
"I'm being serious," Zuko protested.
I turned my head to him, "Thanks," I smiled.
We stared at each other for a bit, neither of us saying anything.
"Hey, (Y/N)?" Zuko broke the silence.
"Hm?"
"I-"
I heard a twig snap. I put a finger on Zuko's mouth and peered over Appa's saddle. Sure enough, Sokka was sneaking over here.
I fell back onto Appa, obscuring myself from Sokka's view.
Zuko looked at me his eyes glancing down to his lips, where my finger still was. His face was red.
I felt my face heat up and I removed my finger, "Sorry," I whispered.
Sokka started climbing onto Appa.
