♡Idea of murderer/reasoning was helpfully given by Chilland thank you. ❤🥺xx♡
♤Ngl, I'm tired af. Some things have been shortened so I don't make long, long chapters-even the class trial will be shortish. Characters have been altered, somewhat. Enjoy, tho.♤
Two days later...

Everything seemed rather calm despite their situation. Monokuma seemed absent, which was strange, he didn't even make a morning announcement, which was his normality in these circumstances.

As far as they were aware, no one would dare kill another. That was the single thread of hope they held onto. Friendship seemed permanent, strong between the students. Yet, such ties can allow us to go so far.

They were unaware that someone was indeed missing, the one who had barely been seen that morning. It wasn't surprising since they normally went in their room to practice their talent, but no one had seen them since the previous day.

~🔪~
The table was layed with different things for breakfast, anything for the more picky of our cast. Things that weren't expected for breakfast food were there as well, such as a packet of noodles. Only few seemed to be missing currently. Yuki and Sayuri sat together, eating sweet food that were not, in fact, for breakfast. "Hm, where do you think Ignatius is? He said he would meet us earlier on to show us some new tricks of his."
"Might be late."
"Should we check on him? He's normally earlier than you are."
Sayuri shrugged her shoulders, following after Yuki as she began to walk through the kitchen, ignoring the intrigued stares from our other cast. They walked along the corridor, then when they came upon Ignatius' room, they knocked one, two, three times. Normally the exchange would go as follows: knock three times to enter their rooms {a secret code for all three of them, since they were rather close}, then a password, exchanged the night prior, would be used. This time, since it was decided days ago, was "Love and Poison".

"Love and Poison."

No response. This was strange, very strange.

"Maybe we should go inside? I have a bad feeling."
"Are you sure he isn't asleep? I guess we could just check."
"...he better not be changing."
"That would be quite the surprise." Yuki opened the door, revealing the Ignatius room. Flames were lit everywhere, some floating around the room. A pink liquid soaked through the non-flamable floor beneath their feet. They inched even further into his bedroom, flickering on the lights to illuminate the bedroom, since the patches of light the flames created was not a sufficient amount of light to cover each aspect of the room.

There was something on the floor they weren't expecting...

Ignatius' corpse on the ground, as a phial with a dark pink liquid bled onto the carpet next to him, in his outstretched hand.

"IGNATIUS?!"

"Why are you-o-oh...no. Nat!" Kai shouted as he stepped forward in order to see the scene before him. All three were as pale as ever; Kai started to cry, sweat dripping down his complexion, Yuki had to look away and attempted to not cry whilst Sayuri couldn't form any words. No more was spoken. It left a dampening prescence. Someone, in their class no less, had murdered Ignatius in cold blood.

Who knew who was stained by such a calamity.

Who...was the blackened?

"A body has been discovered!"

~🔪~
It seemed simple. There was no signs of a struggle. On the tablet they all had received earlier even said his death was a result of poisoning. What they were wondering, however, was why it was such a dark shade of pink. They swore they had never seen this before. It had a label on the side, saying it was "strawberry milk". Ignatius was rather...stupid sometimes so it wouldn't be a surprise he didn't find it peculiar. Everyone seemed to have a place where they were at the time of the murder, with barely anyone having some type of motive for killing Ignatius:
