Alexandra's pov.

i wake up just to see an empty side on my bed. logan did left. i dont blame him. i-its just the way things supposed to be.

pulling my body up to properly sit on the bed, i give everything a thought. why everything has to be this way? the universe doesn't want us to be together,  why do i keep challenging the fate?

"good morning sweetheart." a raspy voice comes from the closet. what the heck? "did you miss me?" a figure stepped out from my closet, it was norman.
"norman?! what are you doing here?! how do you-"
"shush." he cut me off. "look at you. hoping him to comeback and say that he loves you. how desperate."

"im not desperate. he needs help. that's all. he's gone now. if you haven't noticed." i rolled my eyes.
"he needs help." norman mocks me. "if he needs help, why dont he ask his dumbly arrogant assistant? why you?" he walks closer to me, trapping me from going anywhere.
"just fuck off, norman. its not your business."
"it is. why do you let him hurt you? you know he doesn't want you, yet youre still there for him. don't you feel like a puppet?" his hand reach and cups my face with one hand.

i got out from the bed, heading to the kitchen and fall into silence. i do feel like a puppet, but logan still loves me. or so i thought.

"alexa. why did you keep hurting yourself? why do you want him? he keeps hurting you." norman follows me. his hand successfully hold mine.
"let go of me norman." i pulled my hand off his but he wont budge.
"why? you did came to me when youre heartbroken back then. do i not deserve you or something?"
"norman, we're ended. there's nothing between us anymore."
