"Love finds you when you're not even looking for it." Hey everyone, I'm Ayaan. I was going back home that day. I was 19 and I had lived in hostel since I was thirteen so it had been a big deal that I was finally going back. Everything would have seemed new but I was just really happy to finally reconnect with my family, especially daadi. She's the most generous person I've ever known and was the one I used to miss the most when I was younger. I always thought that when I'll go back I'll spend every time with her. My mom died when I was three years old so I never felt much of her love. The worst part is I don't remember much of her. So that's also a reason why I'm so attached to my daadi as I craved for that beautiful motherly love. When I was thirteen my dad decided to send me to a hostel cuz he didn't think he could take care of me fully. I know he loves me but he wanted to work hard for our family so he couldn't spent as much time with me. My daadi insisted on not sending me but he was rigid on his decision. I hated him for it but now I understand.
When my train arrived at the station of Jaipur I got really excited to see everyone. As I stepped out I saw a crowd then I felt stupid to think that like movies I'll find my family waiting for me with garlands and all. Soon people started pushing me to give them space to step into the train so I struggled to get out and finally did. As I came outside of the station my dad called to pick me up. At home when I saw Grandma, her hair were gunmetal grey and her skin as wrinkled as walnut yet she looked gorgeous. With gleaming eyes she walked towards me and I embraced her. I was ecstatic to see her cuteness. She made some of my favourite foodstuff and I munched on them as if I never had food to eat in the hostel. It was mouthwatering. As I was savoring the meal she said that there was a good news for me. On asking she said, "don't unpack your bags. I want you to go on a trip with me to my brother's house in Dehradun." I was not expecting to go somewhere else again. But then I thought It would be great actually meeting new people in family as I hardly ever met anyone. I said, "okay, it'll be great! when?" She said," oh I'm so glad you agreed. My home in Dehradun. We'll visit tomorrow. I haven't been there since so long." _______________________________________ HELLO EVERYONE! DID YOU ENJOY?
