For as long as I remember I liked guys, girls just never seemed to grab my attention. I knew my dad wouldn't take it well so I didn't even consider telling him. Almost all my school life I've been away from home so it never seemed as a problem. In High school I came out to my close friends. They are the only ones who knew. I've had few relationships but none serious. Mostly I've had crushes, never fell in love with anyone. So yeah I've never been in love.

It was actually weird and new to me to be highly attracted to a person and that too in my own Family. I didn't sign up for it. Dehra trip seemed like a disaster to me. Being attracted to a probably straight guy. I Sighed. I just wanted it to be over.

I couldn't stop thinking about all that had happened. Trying to sleep was a waste so instead I thought I should go to the terrace, have some fresh air and clear my mind. It was mildly cold weather so i put on a sweatshirt and went upstairs.
I lit a cigarette and leaned over the balustrade, admiring the night time beauty of Dehra. I was mesmerized to see lights gleam all over the mountains enveloping Dehra.     Along the balustrade trees were lined loaded with wild berries ( Kafal ), slow winds carried their sweet smell. One could easily lose oneself in such a place.
I relished how gently winds caressed and ran fingers through my hair. I'd found solace in tranquility. It was when I heard footsteps approaching stairs and as I turned, it was Shivin. I COULD'VE JUMPED OFF. But yeah, I acted totally cool.
