Next morning, I woke up to the noises coming from the lawn. When I peeped through my window I saw daadi grinning and talking to a bunch of people surrounding her outside, "perfect!... August will be just fine...what a lovely time of the year to hold a wedding!" She chirped with excitement. "28th of August", someone replied. WOW What a great news to wake up to, I rolled my eyes. Like I said before I had absolutely no interest in attending the wedding but I had to because daadi will not have it any other way. Now I have to mentally prepare myself to bear all the unwanted drama.
My day definitely started on a bad note and so I decided to just get ready and go for a city tour for a change. Getting away was the only option so I quickly finished my breakfast and told Grandma that I wanted to explore the city. "Dehra is really beautiful. You'll love it." She said , grinning. "But take someone with you." I didn't know if anyone was willing to go with me...I was pretty comfortable going solo anyways.
"We're going for shopping, come with us we'll show you around.", a lady said. She was one of the relatives. I agreed and went outside. A volkswagon SUV stood there, I hopped in on the passenger seat. Soon the seats got filled with ladies I barely knew. I didn't know who's gonna drive. "Oh, didn't know you were coming with us", Shivin said adjusting himself on the driver's seat. Good Fortune. "I didn't know that I was going too", I chuckled.
He drove us to the mall road and pulled over. All the ladies scattered in different directions. We didn't have anything to do so Shivin suggested that instead of waiting there he could just show me around a few places in the city. I agreed. What a lovely day!!! I was really excited and nervous to spend some alone time with him.
