"Found the chocolate!" (y/n) announced crouching from the refrigerator. "I know it's not the same as the movies, but it's all sugar at the end of the day, right?"

"Yeah," 2-D clucked, wondering instead about what made her leave his side so suddenly. Had he done something to offend her? He certainly liked the way her hand felt on his arm, so much so that it made him nervous.

"You alright?" He asked again, undertones of insecurity resonating in his voice.

"Yeah, duh. Why do you keep asking me that?"

"Dunno" 2-D lied.

"Of course" she giggled, recalling a segment of their conversation at the tavern. (Y/n) drizzled a few spoonfuls of the syrup over the popcorn after moving it to a large metal bowl. She skipped over to the couch, visibly giddy.

"Oh, almost forgot!" she exclaimed as she set the bowl on the table, scampering into the hallway. With a massive grin on her face, she emerged with a fleece blanket adorned with designs of butterflies, ladybugs, flowers, and other garden wildlife. "I know it's a bit of an eyesore, but it's my favorite blanket for watching movies."

"Yeah. It doesn't really matta' to me."

"Great!" she squealed, hopping onto the couch beside 2-D. She quickly unfurled the blanket on top of the both of them and grabbed the remote. Underneath the colorful fleece, 2-D tried to maneuver his lanky legs into a somewhat comfortable position. As his legs slid around the couch, he bumped into (y/n)'s thighs. He froze for a moment before immediately recoiling into a cross legged position. He peered at her from the corner of eye, anticipating her face to be contorted into an expression of disgust, but instead he noticed what seemed to be a pleasantly bashful grin. He turned his head slightly to inspect her further, and observed her cover her smile with her hand. 2-D wasn't quite sure what that meant, but he sighed, relieved to know that at least she wasn't revolted.
