Inside of the Leapmaster, Sophie could see flashes of blinding light, and she could see hundreds of different vivid portals of beautiful places. Right in front of her, and coming towards her, was the one and only Everglen. Sophie was getting so close to it, she could almost go through it.
Right as Sophie was about to through the portal, a gloved hand came through a dark portal right beside her. It grabbed her arm and tried to pull her into the portal it came from. Sophie screamed, but nobody heard her. Then she decided to fight.
Sophie imagined pain could aimed at the hand, and then, the pain shot out of her arms onto the gloved hand of whoever was trying to grab her. The hand jolted back, and Sophie was sure she had inflicted enough pain on them that they wouldn't try to hurt her again.
The blood flow was coming back into her hand, but she felt very dizzy from inflicting so hard, more dizzy than had ever felt from inflicting.
Then her legs went through the portal, then her waist, then the rest of her body. But Sophie couldn't see it clearly, she couldn't see anything clearly at all now. All she could see was blurred figures at what appeared to be Everglen, and the figures seemed to be waiting for her.
Sophie couldn't hold onto consciousness much longer. She slowly drifted down to the front of the beautiful manor, and then everything went black.
