Chapter 6

Ava's POV

"NO!" I scream as I break the car door and make a break for Sara "AVA NO !" I hear Jade yell after me as she continues to fight the other wolves but I ignored her and continued into the woods , as I'm running I can see Laura and Carmilla carrying Sara's mothers body , I make my way around them and continue on to find Sara , i see a cliff coming up so I sped up and jumped it , landing smoothly on my feet

"Ava .. what are you doing here! You're supposed to be in the car !" Lauren yells at me but I ignored her and pushed her away from Sara .. "no no no no no no no " I whisper as I carefully picked up her head and put her on my lap "why do I feel like this... " I say confused on why I cared so much about her but when she went down I felt it , like a part of me was gone "Ava.. did you feel something " camila asked me and I nod as I rocked back and forth with Sara "it felt like someone ripped my heart from my chest " I say looking down at Sara's lifeless body

"Why do I feel like this camila ... Sara and I barely knew each other and I feel like I've lost the most important person in my life " I say looking up at her , Camila softly smiles at me "you and sara are soulmates .. and for .. vampires or werewolves that means you're not only connected by your souls but by mind , heart and body " she tells me , I look back down at Sara and move some hair away from her face "so that's what you are .. you're my soulmate ..." I whisper to her "bite her " Lauren says abruptly  "Ava isn't full grown. She won't be able to stop " Camila says warning Lauren

"True but look at the jump that she made , we couldn't make a jump like until we were at least 2 years into our powers, she made that like it was nothing " Lauren says "and im not losing Sara, we can't " she says kneeling down " okay Ava , you're going to bite here " Lauren says moving Sara's head to the side to expose the untouched side of her neck "you're going to feel dizzy since it's the first time you'll bite into a human , you have to remember this is Sara , you're trying to save her not drain her " she says and I nod

"Are you sure about this Lauren " Camila asked "yes , there's no other way " Lauren says confidently and gives me a nod "Lauren the wolves are coming " Carmilla says as she lands swiftly next to her as Jade , Ari , and Laura jump the cliff to join us "we have to move " Jade says looking back at the woods where the wolves are standing "camz and carm make a wall now " Lauren says

Camila and Carmilla get in a similar stance  and start doing the same motions with their hands the next thing I know the earth was trembling "holy shit " I say as these huge walls come up from the ground protecting us from them "Laura you're gonna have to try to open a portal back to the house " camila says "i'll try " Laura says and she starts chanting "what do I do " I ask Lauren

"Take a deep a breath " Lauren says as she kneels down next to me and I do as she says , I close my eyes and take a deep breath "now Ava , bite her " she whispers to me , I open my eyes and look down at Sara ... it's okay Sara.. I'm coming. I lean down and bite into her neck , her blood rushed through me  and these memories that haven't happened yet start rushing through my mind

I can't lose you now Sara knowing what we do together , I managed to pull back and I could already feel her body start to change "it's working , but we have to get out of here. Laura hurry !" Lauren yells and Laura nods "baby we can't hold this for much longer !" Carmilla yells to Laura just as they dropped the wall. I stand up somehow bringing Sara along with me "Lauren I could use some help I almost got it but I need more power " Laura says

Jade and Ari are already shooting at the wolves who are trying to jump the cliff, Lauren and Laura are chanting away trying to get the portal to open, Camila and Carmilla are somehow making rocks and pieces of the ground move , blocking the wolves or dropping them down the cliff .. "Ava ..." I hear Sara whisper very weakly , I looked down at her and saw that her eyes were black and deep blue down the center
