TWO MORE WEEKS PASSED WITH no improvement in Hazel's condition. She looked so pale and fragile as she laid in the hospital bed, both of her hands clasped in the hands of the most important men in her life.
George felt his heart breaking with every moment that her dark eyes stayed close. He couldn't bare to lose her and he would wait years for her to wake up if he had to. His chocolate coloured eyes looked lifeless as he inspected her face. She looked at peace, almost as if she was asleep after a long hard day. Her brown locks seemed to have grown a fair few inches and were spread around the pillow like a halo.
The hospital room was quiet, only thing making a noise was the heart machine beeping at a constant speed. It was more private than Arthur's room had been but it looked almost identical, the lights making the room an uncomfortable bright colour that irritated the men's eyes, but they didn't care. They'd sit in that room for the rest of their lives if they had to.
George kept his eyes forward, his eyelids threatening to close but he wouldn't allow them to. Suddenly, he picked up movement. Part of him thought that his eyes were playing a trick on him but when he saw - and felt - Hazel's fingers twitching again his eyes suddenly widened. George whipped his head around to look at his girlfriend, he could see her eyes slowly opening and closing; clearly irritated by the bright lights.
"Hazel?" He called out, this gained Remus' attention and the man's head shot up, "Hazel, can you hear me?"
His heart beat rapidly in his chest as hope suddenly filled his body. Remus sat up straight, his breathing quickening as he watched his daughter finally move her head to the side, her eyes still squinted closed.
