HAZEL HAD NEVER BEEN SO scared before. Even after she was picked to be in the Triwizard Tournament, sure she was scared there, but with Dumbledore overlooking everything she wasn't fearing for her life. Now she was.

She stood on a small balcony, right in between the Weasley twins. Their eyes were practically superglued to the large protective orb around the school, bright lights hitting it. Hazel could practically feel it growing weaker as her heart raced.

Night had come along now, and as dark as it was, the brunette could make out the silhouettes of Death Eaters on the other side of the orb, their wands pointed straight at the orb.

"You okay, Hazel, Freddie?" George asked, his voice was clearly filled with fear.

Hazel finally let her eyes fall from the protective orb, she glanced over at her best friend and brother-in-law before letting her eyes fall upon her husband, "Yeah," She nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. Truthfully, she didn't know if she was okay, she felt sick to her stomach with fear.

"Yeah," Fred finally breathed out, nodding his head, his answer was just as unconvincing as Hazel's.

"Yeah, me too," George muttered, he turned away from his wife to look back at the night sky. Swallowing his fear to keep it at bay.

Hazel felt her eyes watering as her hands got clammy. She could feel her heart ramming against her rib cage as a tiny piece of the protective orb suddenly broke off, she watched it carefully as if flew down and rested on her hand; that she held the railing with, reminding her how powerful Voldemort and his army truly were and how close they were too.

It really didn't take long before the orb finally broke from all the pressure of their spells; their very illegal spells. Hazel knew that the orb wasn't going to be up for long, but part of her really hoped that it would've stayed up that little bit longer, giving them that little bit longer to fully prepare.

Loud bangs suddenly echoed from down below, nervously glancing over the edge Hazel's dark eyes widened when she spotted the wooden bridge blowing up, taking a fair few Death Eaters down with it. It was like in that moment Hazel realised what was actually happening and how real all of this way.

It was practically no time at all when Death Eaters began flying around the castle, breaking apart towers and shooting spells at innocent people.

"We need to get back inside," Fred called out over the sound of a tower falling down.

Hazel nodded as she felt adrenaline rushing through her body. The trio didn't waste anymore time as they rushed away from the balcony, sprinting into the inside of the tower. Hazel's eyes shifted all around the building, trying to see as much as she could so that no Death Eater could creep up behind any of them.

Suddenly, a window broke behind them, swivelling on her heels Hazel raised her wand, the spell knocked the Death Eater back, his body falling out of the window he flew in through merely few seconds before. The brunette could feel sweat dripping down her forehead as she sent spells in every direction, knocking down Death Eaters and protecting the Hogwarts students.

"Percy?"

George's voice caused Hazel to finally slow down, turning around she spotted Percy Weasley standing right there, his wand gripping in his hand, his clothes and hair dishevelled as he shot spells at the enemy.

"Don't sound too surprised, George," He teased, his voice strained as he sent a Death Eater spiralling out of a nearby window.

Hazel quickly composed herself from the surprise she felt, she certainly wasn't expecting Percy to arrive, thinking he'd stay at the Ministry of Magic, hiding away. The four of them sprinted through the school halls, halls that once where bustling with life but now were covered in death. Suddenly, the walls from behind them suddenly caved in, George pushed his wife further back as a small group of innocent students and Death Eaters got trapped right underneath the rubble, never to be seen again.

She pushed back the tears that were threatening to spill from her eyes and instead turned her sadness into anger, throwing a Stunning spell right at Fenrir Greyback. Seeing his bend over Lavender Brown, mauling the innocent girl to death angered Hazel beyond belief, and as she watched his body bing crushed by rubble, a satisfied feeling rushed through her veins.

"Hello, Minister!" Percy yelled.

Turning around, Hazel's dark eyes landed on the Minister of Magic; Pius Thicknesse standing there, clearly regretting arriving at the scene.

"Did I mention I'm resigning?"

Hazel couldn't help the snicker that passed through her lips due to Percy's comment.

"You're joking, Perce!" Fred yelled over the sound of rubble falling, "You're actually joking, Perce. I don't think I've heard you joking since you were--"

Fred couldn't finish his sentence as suddenly the wall nearest to them let out a sickening crack. It was like everything happened in slow motion, Hazel pushed her husband and Fred away as Percy followed behind them when suddenly he got caught behind as the rubble finally crashed down onto the ground with a sickening bang.

"Percy!"
